In this feature, I’ll provide you with the latest news of upcoming movies, tv shows and projects in development, obviously related with young adult books.

I just want to give ALL stars and ALL that I can to this. I can’t even explain how much I’m anticipating this movie. I’m scared, no, I’m completely terrified to see this on the big screen. Mcokingjay part 1 gave me chills the whole time. With everything that happens in that last part, I’m not sure I will be able to handle it. And, GUYS, cross your fingers for me, maybe there will be a premiere for this in my country, and believe me, I will be there!

didn’t read this book -yet-, but I thought that, if you don’t know this already, this might be interesting news! I’ve heard so many great things about this story, and I’m planning to read it as soon as I can. However, I had NO idea this was going to be a movie already, and coming out so soon! I don’t know the director, I do know some of the actors, and I can’t say whether they will fit the role or not, yet. This story certainly seems interesting to read, and to see, though!

IN OTHER NEWS

The trailer of the 5th Wave was released !  For my part, I’m really happy with the way that turned out, even if, as always, I’m a little nervous about the actors’ performance and the respect of this world. We’ll see in 2016!

Allegiant_DemiJacket_WetProofTest.inddWe got an official teaser of the Allegiant movie! Okay, I didn’t see  the Insurgent movie, yet…but well, I’m not really eager to do so, I don’t know why. I will see it eventually, though! I wasnt a fan of the first movie, and from watching the second, I feel like I shouldn’t be expecting tons…am I wrong? In other news related to the Divergent series, it has been announced that the final two movies would have different names… Allegiant will be the first part, and Ascendant the second. I wonder if they’re going to change the ending of the booksthoughts?

before i fallBefore I Fall, Lauren Oliver’s first novel, is going to be a movie! This has been announced a while ago, but no news on the radar for a while. Yesterday, though, an article on Deadline announced that Zoey Deutch would star in it! I’m not sure I was seeing her as Samantha, but I am impatient to find out more about the cast, and the rest of the movie!

looking for alaskaLooking for Alaska, the movie adaptation of John Green’s novel, has been in the works for a long time, now. The rights had been aquired by Paramount back in 2005. With the success of The Fault in Our Stars and Paper Towns, the movie is supposed to get back on track soon. Rebecca Thomas was announced as the director this summer, but the filming is pushed back to 2016, due to casting issues. I could talk for hours about Looking for Alaska, my love for it, and the movie (would you like that in a separate post, maybe?), so I will spare you for this time. I’m more scared and completely freaked out about this, than happy, but that’s because this book is the closest to my heart.

Which one of those movies are you the most excited to see? Why, or why not? Are you happy with the casting choices, director…? First impressions, fears, tell me everything in comments! 🙂
