How is September already over?!
I, and everyone is saying this as this time of the month, can’t believe how fast time has been going. Let’s take a look at the endless, not-that-interesting month of September now, shall we.
As predicted, September was a bad month. I may be exagerating a little bit, or maybe I am not, I don’t even know at that point. I just know that my mood falls down and down a pit hole of hell when the autumn and winter months come and I’m basically like this.

But you’re not here to hear me talk about that, are you, so moving on!
I don’t have anything too exciting to share on that part of my wrap-up, unfortunately. September has been filled with the usual routine of working, blogging, sleeping, reading and that’s basically it.
October, though, hopefully promises some more exciting things coming again. It is my birthday month (on the 15th, in case you’re any curious), and if I am not at all ready to be older…. I am VERY excited, because I’m going away with the two loves of my life to my favorite place. I’m being cryptic because I’m bad like that, but more on that later. For now, just to get through five more weeks of work, right, and then I’ll be like this again:

Sorry. I do love Friends a whole lot.

Well, it seems like I’m about to cross off my goodreads challenge really soon and I’m so, very happy about that! My challenge wasn’t really… that challenging, since I just kept the same one as 2017, but still. It’s good to feel ahead and feel like I’ve got something together in my life.
I have read some awesome books this month just as well, so I’m so, very excited about that, too!!
Books I read
I am SO HAPPY I finally read one of my most anticipated reads. As expected, I REALLY fell in love with it. Full review soon!
I am still in shock to have been able to read one of my most anticipated reads of the year already, to be honest?????? IS THIS REAL. I love Lauren Oliver with all my heart and I had a great time with this one…. except for some triggering things. Full review here!
Well, Cait’s book certainly deserves all of the hype. It was a heartbreaking book with characters you want to HUG. Full review soon!
Despite this book being super problematic, I… well, I still had fun reading it. Drama and gossip and I don’t know, I was hooked. Full review soon!
I am very very much in a AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH kind of state because well this book is made for marshmallows like me. Full review soon!
I’m currently buddy-reading this with the one and only amazing Marta and really excited about it. So far, it’s very atmospheric and I like it!

Let’s just forget this category exists, okay. All I’ve been doing are aesthetics to share over on twitter, so…. I guess that’s still something?!

I still have my current WIP in mind and I want to edit it and do something with it. Life just being life, working, being tired, blogging, I haven’t made writing a priority, at all. Maybe I will as NaNoWriMo comes around, or maybe I’m just not made for it. Time will tell I guess?

This upcoming October, I am honored to be one of the co-hosts for the wonderful Shattering Stigmas event. This event is meant to raise awareness towards mental illness and I will be having, on my blog, an incredible selection of bloggers sharing their book recommendations, personal experiences and thoughts on the topic.
That being said, you will most likely see way less of me on my own blog during the length of this event, which is from October 6th, to October 20th. I still have a couple of blog posts on my own, but I will give out my platform and for other voices’ to shine during the event. I really hope you’ll enjoy it!

What was your favorite book this month? What are you planning on reading next? Let’s chat in comments!

I need to read Broken Things like yesterday lol. I can’t wait, I feel it will be amazing. And I’ve heard incredible things about The Astonishing Color of After, I know I’ll never be ready for that book, it sounds so heartbreaking. I hope you have an amazing October and enjoy your a lot of birthday ???
AHHH I am really impatient for you to read Broken Things, I hope you’ll love it! Did you read any other books by Lauren Oliver? 😀
The Astonishing Color was heartbreaking at times, but really, really beautiful, too. It’s a gem. I hope you’ll get to read it soon! <3
Thank you so, so much! I hope you'll have a fantastic month as well 😀
Yes! In fact, I read almost all of her works, but I remember especially enjoying the Delirium trilogy, I think it’s one of the first I’ve read in my life and I really liked it ?
YAY! This makes me so happy. Delirium will always be a favorite of mine <3
Happy (early) birthday! I hope things get easier for you soon. I really liked Cait’s book too. I still need to read What If It’s Us and The Wicked Deep. Have a great October!
Thank you so much!! <3
I hope you'll read and will love both What If It's Us and The Wicked Deep. Loved the first one and I'm currently reading and really enjoying the second 😀
OH MY GOD I must’ve missed your aesthetics on Twitter because I haven’t seen them before and THEY ARE SO GORGEOUS!! Literally everyone is so good at aesthetics and then there’s me ?
And I’m so sorry that this month was rough for you! I hope it gets a lot better in October (especially since it’s your birthday!!) and I’m sending you all the good vibes <3 And I'm so happy you loved Astonishing and WIIU! I'm so excited to read those two and hearing you loved it makes me more confident I will too ☺
Awww May you’re too sweet, thank you so much, I’m so happy you like them!! ♥️ I am procrastinating writing and doing aesthetics, so… and really I don’t know, I just take images like that and somehow find them to fit together ??
Thank you so, so much for your sweet words, I hope so too <3
I can't WAIT for you to read both of these books. The Astonishing Color was way too beautiful and WIIU was ADORABLE, really <3
Thank you so, so much May!!
Well yes September can be hard with the begin of the school year or going back to work and …Now you still had a good month Marread more abou ie and I can’t wait to read more about your event! How old will you be this month? LOL Happy Sunday!
Hitting my mid-twenties, not totally okay about that ???
Thank you so much Sophie! I hope you’ll have a lovely October 😀
I’m so curious about your review of The Thousdandth Floor, because I get the feeling that I was thinking the same thing as you 🙂
Ohh really, well that means you enjoyed it (despite the problematic elements), I hope 😀
Thank you so much for your commnt 😀 I hope you’ll have a lovely month! 😀
I’m so sorry to hear your mood gets worse with these two seasons approaching… I actually love autumn/winter so can’t really relate (it’s the heat that gets me!) but I hope you feel better soon, lovely <3
I'm glad to hear you've had a pretty good reading month, though! I have unfortunately not touched any of these so far *cries* but seeing you gush over all of them makes me super super excited and happy! I can't wait to read The Wicked Deep and The Thousandth Floor. Lauren Oliver was also a big big surprise for me so I might as well try some of her other books soon!
Oh no, don't go missing on us now!!! How will I survive October without one of my favourite bloggers?? *cries some more* I'm so looking forward to Shattering Stigmas though, so at least that <3 Congrats on making the hosting team, that is amazing!
My favourite book this month was Magic Bites by Ilona Andrews. Super fun and action-pacted, fast paced and with an epic heroine – what more could I ask for?
Lovely post, Marie! 🙂
Oh thank you so much Sophie, you’re too sweet <3 <3
I can't wait for you to give these books a try, especially Lauren Oliver's book – I love her SO much and can't wait for you to read more from her 😀
Awww you're way too sweet, really <3 <3 I will still be there don't you worry ahah, I'll just give more space to the shattering stigmas event for around 15 days in the next month 😀 I'll still be there to bother you, don't you worry 😛
Ohhh. That book sounds really good, I'll have to check it out 😀
Thank you so much Sophie! I hope you'll have an amazing month <3
Yeah, I really enjoyed Before I Fall, even if it wasn’t my usual type of read… Which is a feat in itself!
Yay to that!! I will never mind you bothering me, hon 😛 I shall bother you back with comments mwahahahaha
No worries, Marie! Thank you so much, and to you as well <3
Ahah please do, I never mind when you bother me with comments or anything haha 😀 <3
Lovely wrap up, Marie! Ahh, I feel like we haven’t chatted in forever because I’ve been so absent from the blogosphere.?It’s so good to read one of your posts again, hopefully I can catch up on all the ones I missed soon!
HAPPY EARLY BIRTHDAY! Ahh, our birthdays are only four days apart! I hope your exciting trip is amazing, whatever it may be. 😉
YAY, I’m so glad you loved ATPN! AND WHAT IF IT’S US. I’m dying to read your reviews for both of those and will be eagerly awaiting them. I hope you have a wonderful birthday month!
Thank you so much Olivia! I hope you’ve been well, I miss chatting with yo too! <3 <3
AHHH four days apart, really? so, are you an October 11, or an October 19th baby? 😀
Thank you so much for your sweet words, this means a lot <3 <3 <3
Ah, thank you, Marie!
YES! Haha, October 19th. This year I share a birthday with the The Hate U Give movie. 😉
Ahhhh that’s great!! 😀
September was a bit of an off month for me too, I think partly because of the time of year, I dunno, either way I didn’t get as much done as I’d hoped I would. Still you got through some great books Marie, and wow those aesthetic for your WIP are gorgeous! Are you taking part in NaNo this year? I’d love to hear more about your WIP in general, even if it’s just showing us more aesthetics. 🙂
I’m really glad you enjoyed Broken Things, and oh I have What If It’s Us on my TBR list and can’t wait to get around to it (that’s another book I’m really really glad you enjoyed).
Also just an update; I’m putting the final touches on my Shattering Stigmas post and I’ll be able to email it to you tomorrow evening once I’m home from work if that’s OK? (I tend to wait right until the deadlines for thing like this).
Great post, and I hope you have a brilliant October as well. 🙂 <3
OH thank you so much, Beth! I’m not sure, for now I don’t think I will participate in NaNo, but who knows, that could change by the end of the month 🙂 how about you? 😀
I kind of missed this since I am late on my comments, but I received your email, I’m a bit swamped but I will get to it soon – this week for sure – and YAY that is very perfect, thank you soooooooooooo much <3 <3 <3
I am definitely going to be participating, I’ve already started planning but I can’t believe how close we are to November already. Oh well if you decide to take part it would be great, but if not it’s not like it’ll stop you from writing for good or anything.
That’s all right, I know how it feels being swamped because that’s a little how my month has been for most of September, but that’s all right! 😀 ❤️
Yay that’s great!! I hope we’ll get to hear about your NaNo experience on your blog and your story 😀
You’ll definitely get to hear about it. I find talking about NaNo on my blog helps me with the writing in general. 🙂
I’m happy to hear that! Chatting about it and hearing encouragement is always the best thing 😀
I’m sorry that your September wasn’t great. But I hope your birthday month is amazing!! I’m so excited to read What If It’s Us and experience all the fluffiness I’m DYING
Thank you so much! I can’t wait for you to experience the fluffy aweomeness that is this book 😀
Looks like a great month to me
😀
I hope you have a perfect October <3
Aww thank you so, so much!! <3 <3
Aww, thanks for mentioning my post, love! <3 Even if you didn't increase your reading challenge, it's awesome how you've already nearly completed it with time to spare!! I hope your birthday outing is wonderful and super memorable, and I can't wait to see your full thoughts on A Thousand Perfect Notes!
Have an absolutely amazing month, Marie! <3
You’re so welcome, thank you for writing such a great post <3
Thank you so, so much Kelly <3 <3
Great Wrap Up! I’m sorry September was a bad month for you but I’m glad you still had a good reading month. October is my birthday month too! Mine’s on October 10th. So, happy birthday to Us!
Hope you have a wonderful October and Happy Reading! 🙂
Thank you so much Raven! Oh yay, another October baby! Happy early birthday to you!! <3
September was rough for me too… I miss having warm days where I could sit in my backyard and read however long I want ? Alas, now it’s too windy and cold to sit outside without a few layers of jackets on. I least I get to start wearing puffy jackets and fuzzy socks soon ? And you have your birthday to look forwards too, which is always nice. Hopefully books, blogging, and traveling will take our minds off the dreary weather during this time of year! Again, though, it gives us more of an excuse to stay home, curl up in a blanket, and read, so I’m not really complaining.
Wishing you a wonderful month of October! ?
Thank you so, so much for your sweet words Zoie! I’m glad I’m not alone missing the summer weather…. hopefully, winter won’t last too long haha 🙂
Thank you!! I hope you’ll have a wonderful October <3
Ohh I’m so sorry that September wasn’t a good month for you, but I hope that October will be a much better month for you, Marie (especially since it’s your birthday month)!! ? Omg ikr, I honestly cannot believe that September is almost over; it’s crazy how fast time flies. (And I just realized that I’m getting closer and closer to my own birthday, which is in November, haha ??)
I’m so happy that you read so many great books this month, including What If It’s Us!! (You already know how excited I am to read it, hehe ?) And I’m really looking forward to the Shattering Stigmas event that you’re co-hosting. ❤️
I just checked and realized that I read a total of SEVEN BOOKS this month, which is a new record for me, haha. September really was a great reading month for me, which makes me extremely happy ? I read so many amazing books this month; it’s so hard to choose a favorite! I really loved The Song of Achilles by Madeline Miller, though. And since it’s fresh in my mind (since I just finished this book today), I also loved Foolish Hearts by Emma Mills. ?
Great post as always, Marie! Good luck on your five more weeks of work! ?
Ahhh, November, I’ll have to remember that 😀
Thank you so much – I can’t wait for you to read What If It’s Us and I really hope you’ll love it as much as I did. It was such a sweet read <3 <3
YAY for a great September for reading, I'm so happy for you! I NEED to read Foolish Hearts, I only heard great things about it from everyone so far 😀
Thank you so much <3 <3
Aww thank you so much Marie!! I’m so excited to read What If It’s Us and share my thoughts with you. ? And thank you!! I’m really happy that September was such a great reading month for me, too. (I hope October will be just as great, but I have a lot to do this month, so we’ll see. ? There are so many great releases coming out though ? I just received my preorder of The Lady’s Guide to Petticoats and Piracy today!! I’m SO excited to read it.) Anyway, oh my gosh YES I’m very excited for you to read Foolish Hearts. It’s such a cute and lighthearted contemporary with all the feels; I’m sure you’ll love it as much as I did ?❤️
I really hope you’ll have a brilliant October then just as well, filled with tons of amazing books 😀
And I am certain I’ll love Foolish Hearts, just… need to order it when I can ??
I’m so happy to read that you were able to read some of your anticipated releases early (slightly jealous about What If It’s Us, not gonna lie) and that you enjoyed them too! That’s always the part I worry about whenever I get to a book I’ve been waiting for. xD Also, I’m SUPER curious to see what you think of The Wicked Deep! You’ve definitely chosen a great time to read it, I think! 😀
Birthday months are always so exciting and yours is gonna be even more special with the event you’re co-hosting! Congrats on that! 😀
Am I gonna have all the FOMO once you go on your little trip in a couple of weeks? Your photos always make we wish I was in the places you capture! When’s your birthday, by the way?
See, my thing with the colder months is that I don’t mind them as long as they’re sunny. I need my sunshine or I turn into the grumpiest person and no one wants to be near that, trust me. xD Though it hasn’t been that cold here in Germany yet (I think we’ve been at around 15°C at least which I don’t mind) and we’ve even had actual WARM days still? Who knows what October will bring tho! xD
My favorite book was actually a trilogy (you can’t make me choose just ONE book, Marie): The Grisha trilogy! I’m in the middle of a reread of all the books to prepare myself for the greatness that is going to be King Of Scars and I’m SO glad I decided to do a full reread because that original trilogy is much better than I had it remembered it? Alina was a great character, Nikolai is a fucking GEM of a human and the Darkling is one of my favorite villains. I’m already into the Six Of Crows duology so I’m in for a FANTASTIC time. I feel like October might be both Leigh Bardugo and Sarah J. Maas heavy as I continue my reread of both their series and then it’s obviously time for Kingdom Of Ash (which I’m not ready for, at all).
Have a great October, Marie! I hope you’ll have enough time to enjoy the things you love outside of work and any other responsibilities you have! <3
Thank you so much for your sweet words Swetlana <3 I really hope you'll enjoy What If It's Us once it releases, it was such an honor to read it early – I'm still in shock sometimes at what blogging allows me to do.
Thank you! My birthday's on the 15th 🙂
Ohhhhh well that's great news! I haven't read the Grisha trilogy, I've been going back and forth about it because there are so many mixed reviews. I'm so happy you enjoyed your reread so much!! 😀
Thank you so much for the sweet words <3
I’m sorry September wasn’t everything you wanted it to be! Hopefully October will be much better, though it seems like you still got a lot of posting done ? my month was crazy busy with university (it’s my last year and that seems to mean I get to drown in work all the time)
Thank you so much!! <3
Oh, I know how that can be – fingers crossed that things will settle down a bit and, you can do this, last year!! <3
I’m not the biggest fan of winter, but I do LOVE the fall. I know this is a hard time of the year for people though. I hope October is way better than September for you, and yay for getting away with people you love. I hope it’s a blast. I really need to read Broken Things and A Thousand Perfect Notes…you know, if I had copies. So, soon, I hope, and I’m glad you liked them.
-Lauren
http://www.shootingstarsmag.net
Thank you so much Lauren <3
I hope you'll be able to read these books soon and will enjoy them as much as I did! Have an amazing month <3
I read What If It’s Us last month too and omg sooo cuuuuute!
I know right?? It was WAY too adorable <3
I am sorry that your mood gets sad during winter. But hey I won’t say that your month was bad… it was just quiet 😀
A very happy birthday in advance, Marie 🙂 You really read some amazing books this month. I am still hoping to get Astonishing Color somehow. I’ll read ATPN this month for sure.
Ahh, I am so excited for Shattering Stigma series. I will definitely miss out your posts though but this event is quite interesting and I am happy to be a part of it. Thank you so much.
Have a lovely October 🙂
Thank you so much Sim, you’re so sweet <3
I can't wait to hear your thoughts on ATPN, I loved it so much! 😀
You're so welcome, I am so happy you are part of this <3 <3
Have an amazing month!! <3
I’m so excited for what if it’s us! Also I absolutely loved the wicked deep, I hope you will as well!
I hope you’ll love it when it releases 😀
And yay for The Wicked Deep – I just finished reading it and it was SO great 😀
ahhhh, happy early birthmonth ? and youre almost finished your gr challenge too?? how are you such a queen, plz share your secrets
cait’s book was an ABSOLUTE gem, it made me cry and it was so heartbreaking and beautiful im so glad you loved it too! those wip aesthetics tho ?? i seriously am so excited for shattering stigmas and seeing what everyone puts out
also your monthly wrap ups are like a highlight in my month, i love all the blogs and posts you share and spread, so much loveeee <3 i hope october is great to you (honestly im offended how quickly time is passing, i still dont have my life together so v rude) and happy reading <3
Ahh thank you May you’re such a sweet soul ahhh thank you <3 <3
I…. there's no secret, really, I just set my challenge at a goal I knew I could manage ?
Oh thank you so, so much for your sweet words, this means so much <3 Have a wonderful October!! <3
Aww no I hope you’re felling better.
I was the same with The Thousandth Floor – it was so problematic but somehow I really enjoyed it?
Cora | http://www.teapartyprincess.co.uk/
Thank you Cora, that means a lot <3
I'm glad I'm not the only one – despite its problematic aspects, it was such a compelling read, somehow, I couldn't stop ?
I hope October is a better month for you, Marie. Sometimes the same old routine is the worst, especially with making your mood goes down and even more so if nothing too exciting is going on. That’s so awesome that your birthday is in October! I hope it’s amazing. 😀 The Wicked Deep was such a great book! I can’t wait to get my hands on What If It’s Us! 😀 My copy will be here next week, yay!
Thank you so, so much Ashley!! You’re so sweet <3
I can't wait for you to read What If It's Us and I hope you'll love it 😀
YAY! I’ve finally found someone who dislikes the winter months too!! I absolutely love hot, sunny weather – it’s my favourite. Autumn used to be my worst season, as it made me sad to see summer go haha! However, I’ve started really liking autumn, which I’m happy about! I do find that once Christmas is over, I really start struggling with the winter weather. England only starts getting warm in May, so it’s a looong wait for some warmth! >.<
I’m so glad to hear I’m not alone here ? I’m glad you’re doing better with autumn though – and I completely agree with you about Christmas. The winter time left after Christmas usually is the worst ?
Thank you so much for stopping by, Kyra, here’s to hoping we still get some warmth in October <3 <3
How have I never heard of Shattering Stigmas as a blogger who champions mental health wherever possible?!? This sounds awesome so thanks for spotlighting it! 😀 I did a week of posts a year or so ago for mental health awareness week and got lots of other bloggers involved. I’ll have to look out for this so that I can sign up next year!
Ahh that’s awesome yay!! I hope you’ll be able to sign up next year and that you will enjoy this year’s blog posts, too 😀 Thank you so much! <3
Sorry to hear your mood has been more Chandler falling asleep than Chandler and Joey dancing. Hopefully that changes soon! And aesthetics totally count as writing — or at least I think they should. I plan on doing NaNo, so let me know if you need any encouragement. I’m liking a walking Pinterest board of motivational quotes. If you’re feeling it, you should definitely go for it! I hope you have a good October. 🙂
Thank you so much Madeline, you’re so sweet! <3 <3
I have no idea if I'll have the time or anything, for now it's a no, but who knows, maybe I'll try it out by the time November starts 🙂
Thank you so much!! <3
Thank you so much for sharing my work, Marie! I loved your wrap-up, as always. I’m sorry September has been so rough on you and I hope October will be better! I totally forgot we almost share the same birthday haha! Lots of love xx
You’re so welcome, thank YOU for writing great posts and giving me awesome recommendations, too <3
Thank you so much! I hope that October will treat you well <3 <3
I’m generally in the mood to read when fall/winter arrives (Europe here!) but this summer just doesn’t. end! On top of that, I was reading a pretty dense high fantasy almost all throughout September, so that took me a long time to read.
I’m curious to know what you’ll think of The Wicked Deep! It is indeed pretty atmospheric.
YAY hi European friend!! 😀 I was happy that summer lasted a little while in September here in France, to be honest, I’m never ready for winter to come ?
I just finished The Wicked Deep yesterday and I really loved it! Such a great, atmosphetic book, and beautifully written, too <3
Thank you so much for your comment!! <3
Summer here (Portugal) still keeps on giving. Everyone is reading creepy books because Halloween but I still feel like reading contemporary YA (I blame the sun shining outside). I just miss the cold and wearing shorts with black stockings.
I have mixed feelings over The Wicked Deep. I LOVED the atmosphere and the 3 sisters plot but I really didn’t like the romance and how it ended ?
We can switch ANYTIME, here it’s starting to feel like winter slowly but surely and I am not a fan. I’ll take summer and adorable YA contemporaries all day long 😛
Oh I’m so sorry to hear that 🙁 the atmosphere was pretty amazing, I agree. I’m sorry you didn’t love the ending though, I personally found it okay but I think I can get why you weren’t entirely satisfied, it’s a bit of a conflicted ending, isn’t it :/
Yeah, it is. And the thing is that I was truly rooting for Bo to be more ruthless in the end and actually deliver on what he was there to do. Instead, I got romance. Also, I saw the plot twist coming from miles away, so there was also that.
It still was an interesting read but I think it was overhyped x:
Oh I understand – I kind of expected it to end that way for some reason, but I’m a bit of a marshmallow so I’m not always looking for a ruthless kind of ending, but that would have made a different book, I agree! :/
I love your aesthetic boards. They look so comfy and eerie, very atmospheric. I think a lot of people have that sluggish feeling come autumn/winter, but I love it. It means I can live in my boots for the rest of the year haha. I hope you enjoy your birthday. I’m sure you’ll have an AMAZING day.
Oh thank you so, so much, you’re so sweet <3 <3 I hope so ahah 🙂 Thank you!! <3
Happy birthday month! Sounds like you have a lot to look forward to. i actually love the cooler temps, so I’m glad fall is here.
Thank you so much!! I hope you’ll have a fantastic October, Angela 😀
Work, blog, sleep, read, repeat. No truer words can sum up my life. ?
Happy early birthday! You can get through the next few weeks! ?
??
Thank you so, so much Sophia!! 😀
October is the best month. It is also my birthday month. 😀 I hope you’ll be able to feel a bit better this month. I know the meh feeling for the winter months.
AHH yay that’s so great, when is your birthday? 😀
Thank you so much! I hope you’ll have a lovely month <3 <3
The 12th. 😀
Ahhhh so soon, that’s so great!! Happy early birthday, in case I forget (I have a bad memory for these things…haha) !!!! <3 <3
I experienced a bad September unfortunately… but I do hope October treats me better!
Love your book recommendations by the way!
I am a new blogger, do check out my blog and give me a follow!
I hope so too! 🙂 Thank you so much 🙂
Marie, I am so sorry that September wasn’t a good month for you and I genuinely hope that the birthday month goodness will mean that you have a wonderful October! Thanks so much for linking to my post as well. Happy reading, love!
Thank you so, so, so much for your sweet words, this means a lot <3 <3 I hope you'll have a lovely month! <3
Marie!! I’ve missed you and reading your posts so much <3 I'm so glad that I was able to interact and fangirl (and cry) about A Thousand Perfect Notes with you, and I love that you got to read so many more amazing books this month.
I'm sorry to hear that September was very meh for you ?Here's hoping that you have an amazing October! Even though I'll miss reading your beautifully-written words and lovable personality, I'm so proud and happy that you're co-hosting the Shattering Stigmas event. I can't wait to read about the different stories that are posted, and I love that you're giving others a platform to share ^_^ You're doing amazing things you amazing person <3
Oh thank you so much Tiffany! I LOVED reading A Thousand Perfect Notes with you, it is such a great book <3 <3 I hope we'll be able to buddy read more soon 😀
Thank you so much – I'll miss writing blog posts, I already do haha, but I am honored to be able to host this and I hope people will enjoy it <3
Thank you so, so, so, much you're too sweet <3
It’ll just making reading your amazing discussion posts so much more worth it when you’re free again!! <3
Ahhhh. you’re way too sweet <3 <3 <3

Happy early birthday! I’m a summer loving person myself. Not too much into winter.
My life has been pretty routine as yours has. Eat, read, go to work, blog, sleep. Except throw in some writing. I’ve been getting ready for NaNoWriMo since the beginning of August. I hope you have good luck with NaNoWriMo this year.
Hope your birth month turns out great!
YAY for being summer people, summer is everything ahah 😀
OH yay! I hope you’ll have tons of fun participating in NaNoWriMo! 😀
Thank you so, so much Brooke, have a lovely month!! <3
Love the aesthetics you created! Sorry September was a bad month for you, though.

Amazing post Marie! September was a bad month for me too, I basically didn’t read anything except for school 🙁 You read so many popular and amazing books (I haven’t read them, but I’ve heard so much talk about them!) Wishing you a great October and yay for your upcoming birthday 🙂 <3
Oh thank you so, so much <3 I hope that October will be great for you and that you'll get to read great books 😀
I’m so sad your September was not the best, and I relate SO MUCHHHH!!?????? also, Lauren Oliver was my hero w Delirium, I was so obsessed with that series c: c:
++ I’m so excited to read What If It’s Us!!!!!! especially since it’s marshmallow-ey and adorable + written by Adam + Becky
Oh I’m so, so sorry to hear that September wasn’t the best for you either, I hope October has been better so far! <3 <3
AND YES AHHHH I'm SO happy to hear that,I was OBSESSED with Delirium (still am) and I'm glad I'm not alone!! <3
I hope you'll love What If It's Us, it was adorable and marshmallow-y and my hearttttt <3
Thank you so, so much for stopping by!! <3
It looks like you’ve been reading a lot of lovely books! It’s crazy how quickly time is passing this year. It’s almost over! The only one of these I’ve read it I Do Not Trust You, and it was an okay read for me. I didn’t really get sucked into the story as much as I would have liked, and I didn’t care for how easily they got out of tough situations. It was enjoyable overall, though.
I hope your October is fabulous!

I know, I just can’t believe how fast time is going and that it’s almost 2019??
Oh I’m sorry to hear that – but you’re not alone, I’ve seen so many mixed reviews about that book unfortunately :/
Thank you so, so much for your sweet comment! I hope you’re having a lovely month so far <3
October has been great, though not as cold as I would like! It’s supposed to be cooler next week, so I’m looking forward to jackets and boots! I love the cold, but Texas takes its time getting there, haha.
Lindsi @ Do You Dog-ear?
Ahah I get that feeling. Here too where I live in France, colder temperatures have been taking their sweet time to come haha 🙂 though I’m not mad, I’m a summer kind of person 😛
Happy early birthday! I am so excited to see the posts that you will share this month through Shattering Stigmas, and I am glad that you are bringing awareness to mental health in the book blogging community. I haven’t read any of the books you have this month, but they are all reads I’ve seen around the blogosphere and I hope I can read soon! Have a wonderful rest of October! 🙂
claire @ clairefy
Oh thank you so, so much Claire, you’re so sweet! I hope you’ll enjoy the Shattering Stigmas posts as much as I do <3
I hope you'll have a lovely October as well! <3 <3
Hello Marie!
*Big hug!!!* I get what you mean- there is something about the colder weather, shorter days, etc, that gets me down. I wish it could be summer all the time!
However, wishing you a happy birthday (which is in a few days!) Hope that you will enjoy your special day as well as the rest of this month 🙂
That’s great to hear that you’ve enjoyed the books you’ve read this month! So glad to hear that you enjoyed What if It’s Us!! (I can’t believe I haven’t read it yet!) I am also looking forward to A Thousand Perfect Notes, and now I am even more excited to read it 🙂
Those aesthetics look beautiful <3 Looking forward to hearing more about your WIP, even if it is just a little update here and there 🙂 Wishing you a wonderful October!
Thank you so, so, so much for your sweet words, Sophie, this means a lot! <3 I hope you've been having a lovely October so far <3

I haven’t came here in quite a while, have I? I mean, your blog is one of my favourite but like just keeps getting in the way and I feel like it has been months since I last commented on here… now I feel like I missed a year worth of post especially with the Shattering Stingmas that has started. Anyway sorry for that and hopefully now I’m back! ?I’m sorry about September but hopefully October (at least what’s left of it) will be better! Especially with your birthday coming up (what, tomorrow? Better not forget I guess ?). I can’t wait to dive more into some of the posts you published lately :). Oh, and I have a challenge for you, which you can only know about if you ask on Twitter haha ?
Oh don’t worry about that at all, we all get busy and we can’t do everything – even if we wish we could, am I right ?
I’m hoping that the second half of October will be better than the first half ahah, fingers crossed. and yeees, my birthday’s tomorrow on the 15th 🙂
A CHALLENGE? I AM INTRIGUED. You can’t leave me hanging like that now, that’s cruel, be ready to see me on twitter in about 12 seconds hahahaha.
I hope October has been treating you well so far <3
