Hi everyone, how are you? All of you -me included- are probably swamped with Christmas right around the corner… but I wanted to take a break in all this Christmas-y frenzy, to be a little selfish and talk about myself. No worries, guys, you’ll find yourself somewhere there, so keep on reading!
Today isn’t really a special day, but I haven’t kept good track of my blogging, at the beginning, so, today will be as good as any other day. Almost a month ago already -the 27th november, to be exact-, WordPress wished me a happy one year. ONE YEAR. I only started blogging regularly at the beginning of january, but this day marks the beginning of my journey in the FANTASTIC book blogging community. So, hm, happy belated one year to me ! ?
A YEAR ALREADY?!!
So, how about a little throwback, right to the start? I knew I wanted to talk about books, write reviews about the books I love, and, most of all, discover new stories and talk about it with new people who are sharing the same love for written stories. But never did I expect to find such a WARM, SWEET, amazing community of book bloggers. People with who I can chat, people on who I can count on to recommend me books, to make me excited about things and make me feel less crazy when I can’t even speak and end up shaking my arms everywhere in the air like a crazy person, after finishing a perfect book. So, today, I want to say the WARMEST thank you to all of you, reading this post, taking the time to stop on my blog, all of you who ever commented, read a post, talked with me about books or anything. YOU are amazing, and what makes me smile and love doing what I do. Some of you are here since the beginning, and some others for not that long. But I LOVE every single one of you guys, you’re AMAZING.

Obviously, I’m not ready to stop this adventure anytime soon. But, for that, after one amazing journey, I need YOU. To make this blogging journey even more fun for me, and for you, I would LOVE to know what you enjoy the most here on my little platform, and what you enjoy, a little less. Here’s a couple of questions I’ve been asking myself, I’d love to know your thoughts on this !

Ahh yay, congratulations!! One year is awesome! It’s so cool to look back, and see how far your blogs come. I agree – the book blogging community is so lovely 🙂
My favourite types of posts are reviews (if it’s a book I’ve read/thinking of buying i.e. popular haha) and original discussions. I like book tags, but not so much awards (where you just have to talk about yourself and stuff) – sorry! <3 I love your design, and I'd love to see more travel posts because they're so different 🙂

AWE, YOU ARE AMAZING <3! Congrats on hitting the one-year-milestone and therefore Happy Blogiversary!!! I honestly enjoy all your posts, but as you've mentioned in one of your recent posts, discussions and tags simply get more attention than reviews. That is a sad truth, but doesn't mean I don't love to read your opinion on books, because I do!!! I like the design of your blog and think it's easy to navigate around 😀 also, I don't think I am qualified to give any advice and I can't think of anything anyway. Just continue being amazing you 😀

I like your reviews and tags, YES TRAVEL/BOOKS because that sounds wonderful, your design is fine but there’s quite a bit going on which is rather distracting. I can’t think of specific posts I dislike. Congrats on your blogoversary *hug* *sob* you’re so young (only a few months younger than my blog but whatever).

Oh my gosh, I missed so many of your posts it appears… but happy BELATED BLOGIVERSARY to Drizzle and Hurricane Books, Marie! So happy for you!! My favorite posts of yours are the discussion and book reviews. It’s clear that you put a lot of thought into them. And I’ve always loved how you bolded the important ideas in most of your posts, so definitely keep that up! As for the travel posts, you should totally do those more!! I mean if you’re passionate and love traveling, we’ll be happy to read what you share. 🙂
