June hasn’t been the best, nor the worst month, so I guess that’s alright? It’s been filled with work and I’m eager to have a real break without any kind of work and holidays and to get away a little bit. I think that’ll do me good, hopefully.
In great news, I got to see my family for a couple of days this past month, which was pretty wonderful! Otherwise, I tried filling my time with tv shows, seeing some friends and just, taking things day by day the best than I can, I guess.

Monthly Reading Wrap-Up
I read once again 4 books! I think that’s a pretty great amount and, honestly, if I can keep it at that I’d be really happy.

HEIR, APPARENTLY ☂️ I really enjoyed the first book in this duology, The Prince and the Apocalypse and its sequel didn’t disappoint. I had as much fun as the first book! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
OUR INFINITE FATES☂️ Okay, so. This book releases in 2025 and I somehow got an ARC and I couldn’t not read it, like, immediately. I’m just still a bit overwhelmed about how unique, gripping and incredibly inventive this book is. I loved it. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
MUST LOVE BOOKS ☂️ I was so surprised by this book. I didn’t expect much of it, getting in, but in the end it just blew me away. So relatable, a must-read really with all the lost in your 20s vibes. Loved loved loved it so much. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
EVERYONE WANTS TO KNOW ☂️ Woah so this one was quite a ride. It had been on my list for a long, long time and I’m so happy I finally got to it. I really loved the discussions about social media, growing up in the glare of the public and everything. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Goodreads challenge: 23/45 books
Still on track, so yay!

ICYMI, I’m PUBLISHING my first YA contemporary book THIS FALL 2024 (yes this deserves all caps because I’m screaming).
If you missed my announcement post, you can read it right here.

It hasn’t been an eventful month, writing-wise, both for this publishing project and in other things. It’s been mostly a month of waiting, for my proofreading, for my book cover and everything else. So not much to share here, I’m afraid!
I’m getting into my author adventures a little deeper in my monthly author newsletter, if you’re not subscribed yet, you can do so right here!

I still haven’t gotten out of that blogging slump per se, but I’m trying! I deeply miss talking about books and hope I can find that little spark again. I tried to with two posts this month, talking about books I loved and am excited to read. They were really nice to write and I hope it’s a nice new beginning to getting started blogging, again.
First, I shared some of my most anticipated reads for the second half of 2024.

Then, I bothered my sister again (yay!!!) to do our yearly “best books of half the year” blog post.

I appreciate you all so much! ❤️ Also please if you have any recommendations to get out of the dreaded slump, here for your advice. Thank you!!

Thank you! 🙂
ok so I added must love books to my tbr along with her book as they sound so good and of course you loved the must love books one. Infinite Fates also went to the tbr because of your but also THAT COVER IS PRETTY! I am so excited for your debut aaaaah *dances* You said you’re still in a blogging slump, have you considered posting about things outside the book niche? Whether that’s travelling, writing or music related just to toss some ideas out. I found when I stopped restricting myself down blogging became enjoyable again and it felt like my space. Truly since doing that I’ve been loving blogging and getting to share my thoughts on all sorts of things.
June was a busy month for me but my highlight was getting a new bicycle at the end of the month! Me and my dad have been going on rides so I can start to build my stamina up cause it’s been like 10 years and round where I live it’s got hills and inclines. (I swear cycling doesn’t half make you realise about the inclines of a place more than a car does xD)
Oh and I finished I Wish You Would!!! Literally the day I was messaging you about it suddenly became available so I borrowed it again and finished it in the wee hours of the morning. Was such a good one and the other one I finished was When The Stars Lead To You – loved the depth that one to with Ashton and Devon. Oh and Ethan and Natalia’s friendship, so precious. Anyway hope you have a lovely July! 💜
Clo thank you for your kind words and for everything, and I hope you know that they mean the world to me every single time. Thank you 💜
This is a great idea, actually, I just need to find my groove back and find what I feel like talking about, as well, I think. It’s been a bit tough but i’m hoping it’s not lost! <3
Ahhh yay! Love that so much! I've loved cycling so much, def one of my favorite things to do whenever I'm at my hometown!! 💜
SO happy you enjoyed I Wish You Would and The Starts Lead To You, both are such incredible reads!! <3 <3
Thank you for everything again. I hope you'll have a fantastic month <3
“They’ve loved each other in a thousand lifetimes. They’ve killed each other in every one.”
*instantly adds to TBR*
RIGHT? I’m simply obsessed!!
I agree with you, June just kinda happened without any real exciting things. It just existed for me, as it kinda sounds like was the case for you! I’m still so happy and proud of you on your book – I can’t wait for it to be out in the world!! 😄 I’m starting to get some sort of blogging groove back, but I’m still behind on my reading 😅. I hope you have a wonderful July! 💜
Thank you so much, this means so, so much!! <3 I hope you get to read a bit more this month. Sending you lots of love! xx
Thank you so much, Marie! ❤️
I hope you get lots of reading in this month, too!
Ah im happy you got to see your family & had some nice reads! I hope July is better xx
Thank you so, so much Kristina!! xx
All the books that you read sound so good and I’m on my way to add it to my tbr! Our Infinite Fates’s cover alone makes me want to read it 😂
Right? I love that cover so much! Thank you so much!! <3
Sounds like uneventful month. It’s great you could see your parents. Can’t wait for release of your book.
Thank you so, so much, this means the world!! <3
Ah! That’s amazing that you loved Laura Steven’s 2025 release (yay for getting an ARC). I read her debut contemporary years ago and adored it, but I haven’t read anything by her since. But adult fantasy and you love it, how can I deny myself?!?! It has actually been interesting seeing the different books she has published over the years!
Aw.. so excited for your book! 🩷 Wishing you a lovely July!
Ohhhh! I really want to read more of her books now, I wonder where I should start. She has such different books, contemporary & fantasy alike and they all sound very good!
Thank you so much! Wishing you a wonderful month <3
The prince and the apocalypse sounds like such a fun duology ☺️ and our infinite fates sounds like a must read! Honestly it sounds like I’m going to have to check out all of these books!! That’s awesome about your book!! And I hope you’re managing to get some time off this month! ☺️❤️
It was really fun yes!! 🙂 thank you so, so much, hope that July has been kind to you so far!
I am glad to hear you got to see your family! My June went well – I finished my first summer paid research experience and started my second summer position. The commute is long but I am grateful for the opportunity! My favorite books in June were The City of Dusk by Tara Sim, Three Holidays and a Wedding by Uzma Jalaluddin and Marissa Stapley, Road to Ruin by Hana Lee, and One for My Enemy by Olivie Blake. There were a few hot days in June, but the weather in July has been really nice so far!
Ohhh that’s an exciting opportunity, I hope you’re learning a lot and enjoying it! <3
I haven't heard of any of these books, I'll have to check them out!! Thank you so much for your sweet comment, Isabella!! <3
This post is amazing!!
Omg I need to check out lots of these books, I’m glad you had good reads this month!!
I hope July is better for you <3
Loved this!!
