Hi friends! I hope you are having a wonderful Wednesday! Today I’m coming back with, drumrolls…another book tag! But this one’s a bit different, since I get to talk about myself, and state bookish facts… You know by now I’m kind of a shy bean, but if I need to state bookish things…then that’s okay I guess.
The sweetest Victoria @ The Petite Book Blogger tagged me for this, so I have to thank her a billion times and ask you, tell you, dare you to visit her fantastic blog and meet her. Alright, let’s get started…

- I never read an audiobook.
- I carry a book with me everywhere I go.
- I like to pat and smell my books. Is that weird? Maybe.
- I don’t read two books at a time, well I don’t like to. I don’t get confused or anything, I just like it better when I can really focus on one book at a time.
- I cry a lot while reading books. I GET VERY EMOTIONAL.

- I get anxious about movie adaptations. Because it’s either a hit, or a miss, and most of the time it’s not like I imagined it in my head. So it makes me anxious.
- I’ve never been to a book event before, but I WISH I could, because it sounds FANTASTIC.
- I don’t really read classics. Except from the books I had to read in class, I don’t turn to classics very easily. I guess they’re just not my thing.
- I don’t read with music, or tv too loud, I can’t focus except if the book is really good.
- I read the same books as my sister. MY SISTER is great, guys. Shout out.
- I recently got an incredible bookshelf and I can’t stop staring at it. Well, I won’t stop when I finally get back home, ahah.
- John Green is my favorite author. In case you couldn’t say before. I know there are lots of mixed opinions about him, and I do respect those, though. BUT you can’t deny he’s kind of crazy.

- But I think Jandy Nelson comes to a close second. I mean, have you READ her books? THERE ARE FEELINGS.
- I wish I could bookstagram, but I lack the photography skills to do so.
- Book blogging made me read so many books outside of my comfort zone, and made my TBR explode. Like, REALLY.
- I have books around EVERYWHERE. Since I don’t have, well, not really, a bookshelf where I am, there are books everywhere.
- I don’t take notes while reading a book. I guess I like to focus on the story. I will remember, or not, things for my review afterwards.
- But I can drink and eat. While being very careful because books are babies you need to take care of.

- I recently discovered buddy-reading, and I love it. SO, so much.
- I spend too much time on Goodreads. I can’t stop, it’s an addiction.
- I’m a sucker for the best friend trope, siblings especially sister stories, and contemporaries with lots of feelings.
- I only read Harry Potter after all the movies were released…
- I own an e-reader, but nothing can replace the feeling of a real book in my hands.
- I don’t like to lend my books because people aren’t careful and aware that books are tiny babies you need to take care of. I said that already, I know. But it needs to be said. A LOT.
- I don’t own that many bookish things but I do want to when I see all the pretty things on Society6. I WANT EVERYTHING, but my wallet is crying.

Haha, they were very funny and informative!
Aw so glad you liked it! If you want to do this, well, please do, !I’d love to read your bookish facts:)
I already did it sometime ago. You could read it here- https://vrushali21.wordpress.com/2015/12/07/25-bookish-things-about-me/
Ohh thank you, I’ll check that out 🙂
I agree with you about John Green– he might be a little crazy at times, but I love his writing and think he’s an overall great person. I think the best bookish thing I own is an embosser that has my name on it that I got for Christmas one year. You stamp it down on the page of a book and it leaves a mark that says “From the Library of Holly.” It’s so cool!
Yay another John Green fan! 🙂 He’s a great person I think so, too, everything he does, I am really a big fan of his. From his videos to projects to writing.
Ohhhh, that’s SO cool. I want the same one now, ahah! Thank you for sharing this. I’m definitely looking for something like that now ahhaha 😛
Love the post!
I don’t make notes while reading either. I feel it takes the joy out of enjoying the book. I also understand the need of having a real book in my hand, despite owning a Kindle. Only if my mom understood that! :/
I HATE lending my books, especially to people who don’t read much. They DO NOT know how to take care of my little babies. I haven’t been to a book event either, would love to, though. Annnnddd I do not own a lot of bookish items either. 🙁
I cannot for the life of me read more than one book at a time. I am amazed and inspired by people who can read multiple books, though. Thier TBR must get over faster than ours.
I am not into classics as well, I have tried reading them but I got so lost in the dictionary I never got to enjoy the story.
Aw thank you so much! <3 <3 YOU SHOULD DO IT I would LOVE to read some bookish facts about you 😀
I feel the same way about taking notes, I'd rather enjoy the book and not stop reading one second 😀
I guess people reading more book than one at a time get through their TBR faster…but there are always so many more books to add to our TBR…I think it's endless, ahah 😀
One bookish fact in direct contrast to yours: I am ALWAYS reading two books at once – an audiobook and a real book. (: I don’t think I own any cool bookish thing! How sad for me!
Aww that’s so great! I never tried reading an audiobook, maybe I should at some point? 🙂 Thank you for stopping by, Ali 🙂
I want to buy bookish stuff as well but they’re too expensive. Like, everything appears to be double the price whenever there’s a quote plastered in front of objects.
I can’t stand audio books either. My mind isn’t stable enough to listen to someone talk and talk for hours. Hahaha. It explains why I get terrible grades lol
OH yes, that’s what annoys me a little bit about it. Some people are making gorgeous art/mugs/candles/crazy bookish things though, it makes me want them ALL.
Ahah, I’m not eager to try, I don’t think I’d be able to focus either, ahah 😛
One third of these I am in complete agreement.
One third I am the polar opposite.
One third do not apply.
Great list!
Ahah, well one thing is sure : I WANT to know which third applies to WHAT NOW! 😀 Thank you so much! 🙂
I find it surprising (in a good way) how much we have in common! Like I also don’t read two books at a time, not taking notes while reading, Jandy Nelson, the Harry Potter one and more. Haha, I enjoyed reading this post so much! ?
OH yay, this makes me so happy, I love finding people with the same bookish taste as I do 😀 Thank you so much Louise! <3
Love your facts. I can relate to a lot of them especially movie adaptations and lending books
OHh yay, I’m so glad you agree with these 🙂 Thank you so, so much Louise! You should do this as well if you feel like it, I’d love to read your post 🙂
Thanks. I don’t know if I could make 25!
OH, well, you can make this a 10 facts thing, if you can’t make it to 25. I won’t lie, this took me a while to write, ahah 🙂
You don’t read audiobooks, you listen to them. lol I do listen to audiobooks a lot. I do carry a book around with me. I used to not read two book at a time. My mother used to read two at a time. But now I do read two at a time. I can’t read with music either. I used to not like leading books either, but I do now.
Ahah you’re right 🙂 well it’s crazy how our bookish habits can change with time 🙂 Thank you!
Interesting facts! And, I cry over some books too. I guess I’m just too attached to fictional characters, haha.
Also, I’d really appreciate if you could follow my blog. 🙂
Ahah well there’s nothing wrong with this, it just means the book is THAT good, and I love it 🙂 Thank you for stopping by!
So true! 🙂
Fun post! You’re not weird. I smell books too. I love the smell of Barnes & Noble. I always tell people it smells like home. ? I have a book on me at all times though I’m kind of cheating since it’s the Kindle app on my phone. I will read anywhere. In line at the store, bank, whenever.
OH YES IT DOES, right? I’m glad I’m not alone, whenever I enter a bookshop I feel like it smells like home, I love it. Oh that’s not really cheating, it’s still a book 😉 Thank you so much 🙂
I read my first ebook ever about 2 weeks ago (a reread of Eleanor & Park) and it was… okay, I prefer actual reading by far. And smelling and patting books is NOT weird. They’re like babies.
Oh and I also adore John Green as a person he’s so inspirational and hilarious. And Jandy Nelson is definitely one of my favorite authors now but you already know that haha and I seriously cannot decide on who’s my actual favorite author.
I don’t read 2 books, don’t read classics and don’t read with music too.
Oh and the only bookish thing I own is a Harry potter scar necklace that I wear ALL THE TIME (I’m wearing it on the picture I put on twitter ?)
Oh and I meant audiobook not ebook hahaha.
One last thing. SO. MANY. THINGS. IN. COMMON.
WE ARE TWINS that’s why <3 <3
I don't know if I'll ever try an audio book, I'm not sure I could focus on the story completely?
Trying to pick a favorite author, or a favorite book, is one of the hardest thing ever, there are just SO many books to choose from. I don't know where to start.
I LOVE THAT NECKLACE (I went back to twitter to look, hahaha), seriously it's soooo pretty! <3
YEEEES ❤
I honestly found myself phasing out sometimes, if I didn’t already know the story I’m sure I would’ve lost track.
Thank you ?? it actually wasn’t sold as a bookish thing, I found it at a random jewelry store in town and I was like YES THAT’S IT !!! That was about 5 or 6 years ago and I rarely take it out, even at night.
Well I’m glad you said this, I don’t think I’ll try, well at least not right now. I wouldn’t be able to focus ahah.
That’s SO awesome you found it just like that! And wow, it’s been a while! I have some things I rarely take off as well, they’re not bookish jewelry, but it’s like they’re part of me 🙂
Yeah ir was like faith or something haha. I have those too, this one and a bracelet ? I feel like something’s missing hah
Oh yes, me too, ahah
There’s a bracelet I never get rid of as well!
I loved reading all your bookish facts, and I didn’t think it was too long or anything either! 😀 I’ve never listened to an audio book either. I feel like I should, and I enjoy podcasts so I may actually like it, but I just can’t seem to get past the fact that books need to be read you know!
See I actually do read more than one book at a time, mainly it’s because a new book is released and I can’t wait long enough to finish the book I’m currently on before starting another one! I think the most books I’ve been reading at any one point is three! 🙂 I’ve only read one book by John Green but YES Jandy Nelson, she is definitely my favourite YA contemporary author!
Aww thank you so much Beth, you’re so sweet! I’m glad you liked reading these 🙂
It’s so great that you can read many books at a time, I can’t do that, well, I can, technically, ahah, but I don’t really like to, because I’d rather focus on one book at a time. Three books, that’s so awesome though! 😀
Which John Green book did you read? 🙂
Well I always like learning new facts about people, especially everyone on WordPress because I feel like I talk to most of you more than I do my friends in real life 😀
Yeah I didn’t do it all the time, because like you I do like to focus on one at a time but then they are other times when I just can’t wait to start a certain book so I do it anyway even though I’m already reading something else!
The Fault in Our Stars (which I feel is the one everyone, if they’ve only read one John Green book, has read!)
Oh yes I feel the same way at times, not sure this is a great thing, but people on here are like friends just as well <3
Ohh okay, yeah I guess everyone read TFIOS and not so many read his other books, when you think about it. TFIOS was awesome, even if it's not my favorite I still love it so much 😀
Oh definitely, and I think thanks to all the facts posts and the Get to Know Me tag you guys know as much about me as my friends do, probably more because you (obviously) know about my blog! 😀
TFIOS is a brilliant book, and it did make me add more of John Green’s books to my to-read list, I just haven’t gotten around to them yet is all, hopefully one day soon though!
Oh yes, and it’s so much fun to get to know other bloggers that way. I love finding people who really share my craziness about books as well, and don’t judge me if I ever need to scream because a book was THAT good, ahah 🙂
Well I hope you’ll read more books from him, my favorite is Looking for Alaska (I’m guessing this is obvious, ahah :))!
Exactly, and I think we’re all pretty crazy about books so none of us will judge you for screaming over how good one is when we’ve probably (definitely!) done the same thing 😀
Yeah I remember you saying that, maybe I’ll have to pick up Looking for Alaska next to see what all the fuss is about 🙂
And that’s why I love this community so much, we’re all kind of crazy ahah 😀
I hope you’ll like it, it definitely wasn’t everyone’s favorite (I think that was TFIOS, ahah).
And we can all fangirl over the same things too 😀
Well given I’ve only read one John Green book I can’t really say which is my favourite but once I read more… 🙂
Exactly, and I LOVE fangirling 😛
Love that list. I agree about the classics. Many are so repetitive.
Marilyn
Thank you so much Marilyn, I’m glad you liked these 🙂 I’m not really into classics, I’m sure some stories are great, but somehow I put together classics and what I was forced to read in school. It puts me off, a lot, ahah. Thank you!
I CAN’T BELIEVE we haven’t buddy-read anything yet. We should totally do it and maybe have a Twitter message room with Kat and Lois and all the other peeps, haha.
Also I’m kind of a new audiobook convert but I find that the format only works with me for non-fiction. With fiction I need to immerse myself in the world and listening takes more concentration, but with non-fiction, it’s a bit like listening to a comedy podcast. Granted though the only audiobooks I’ve finished are Modern Romance and Is Everyone Hanging Out Without Me, both of which are written by stand-up comedians and read by them too. Are you planning on trying? 😛
YES WE SHOULD DO THAT, oh that would be incredible. (Buddy-reading TWATD right now with Kat, and that book is CRAZY, by the way. CRAZY.)
Ohh that’s interesting actually! I’m so scared NOT to be able to get into the story, but with non-fiction I could probably try, yes! 🙂
I can definitely relate to these facts 🙂
Aww yay, I’m so glad <3
Strangely, we actually don’t share a lot of the same bookish habits. I do cry a lot when I read (which is extremely ironic to my friends since I rarely cry when it comes to my own life) and (I know it’s selfish with how many books I own but) I don’t lend my books either. I stopped doing that after someone dropped one of my beloved copies of HP down the stairs… And you’re not the only one! I don’t take notes as I read either, Marie! And oh my gosh, after you’ve arranged everything do you think you’ll share your bookshelves on here? I’d love to see them! <3
Oh, really? Well I cry a lot with books, and in real life as well, ahah. And I understand you don’t feel safe lending your books anymore, I don’t like doing that either, because some people just aren’t careful, and would carelessly put their hot mug of tea ON the book or something, that would make me scream.
Ohh well definitely, I’ll put a picture of my bookshelf here at some point…well, you’ll have to wait a bit since I’m going home in two months ahha, but I will 😀
Oh my gosh, that would totally happen. >.< Why don't people take care of books more seriously? T.T
I don’t know, I don’t understand how people can be SO careless, it makes me SO sad 🙁
Such a great post, Marie! <3 I totally pat and smell my books too. Sometimes I even hug them for a couple of minutes. I always used to think that I couldn't or didn't want to read more than one book at a time. Now I mostly have 2 or 3 at the same time. My mum thinks it's confusing, but coordinating buddy reads is difficult and you know how I have no bounds and just read way too fast hahaha that way I give one book a break for a day and let people catch up while still reading something else. I CANNOT GO WITHOUT BOOKS!
I don't have any bookish things either, but I want to. SO; SO BAD!
I ALWAYS hug books. I’m crazy like that. We are book huggers, ahah that’s a great nickname I think 😛
Haha YES you read WAY too fast that’s crazy! But it’s also so great how you manage to read and buddy read all these books at the same time. It helps a bit with your TBR problem now, no? 😛
We are the band of book huggers. That could be a title for our group if we ever decide to do an official buddy read thing LOL
You’d think it would help with my TBR, but I don’t feel like it really does. The faster I read, the more books seem to be added to it.
OH YES PLEASE LET’S DO THAT. It sounds SO good ahah I love it. <3
Ahah, well…I guess there really is no solution to the TBR problem then 😛
Nope, TBRs will forever remain untamed creatures.
nothing we can do about that, ahah
I have never been to a book event either. I am so jealous of people living near enough or able to traveling to attend all those awesome events I hear about.
I tried bookstagramming and it was fun, but I’m in an instaslump, and I’ve never been that good so my account is slowly dying, haha.
I’ve never tried buddy reading, but it sounds like lots of fun.
My brain can’t cope with reading two books simultaneously.
Great post!
oh yes, it makes me kind of jealous as well, but someday, it will be US, we’ll be travelling there are meeting some incredible authors and just BE AWESOME 😀
Oh, no 🙁 I still want to see your pictures! And I’m sure it’s already so good, better than me ahah. Buddy reading really is a lot of fun, you should try it, maybe we can try it sometime, if we read / want to read the same books! It’s awesome, you’ll see! 🙂
Thank you so much ! 😀
I’m already planning trips 😀 I want the whole experience, and a hundred trips to the Starbucks, haha.
I don’t know how some bookstagrammers do it, their feed is so gorgeous and neat. But I’ve forced myself not to delete anything I’ve published because I have had lots of fun doing it. When I’m done, the house is a mess, books everywhere and props scattered on the floor xD
Yeah, I’d love to!
Are you a planner as well?! I think I just found in you my blogging soulmate, hahaha 😛
OH I’m forever admirative of people like that, I swear, I wish I had the photography skills for that! Hahaha, well bookstagraming, and, ART with books even, takes a lot of time and mess I guess 😛
*high five* Come with me, twin! ? I plan everything! I have it all in my head. I see to every detail. Hello control freak xD
AHHH me too! I’m a bit crazy about things sometimes, well I guess it depends on what we’re talking about. But travelling and blogging = HUGE planning freak haha 😛
Reading half of your facts was like reading about me. I cry at books all the time, I don’t take notes whilst reading, I don’t really read classics unless I have to for Uni or I force myself to try it out, I don’t take notes and I’ve never been to a book event. I won’t list all the similiarities but you get the idea 😀
Oh yay, this makes me so happy! 😀 The thing with classics is, I think since I’ve been kind of forced to read some with classes, now, I don’t want to force myself, ahah 🙂 Thank you so, so much for your sweet comment!
I’m so glad that you participated in this tag!!!!! I loved reading all of your answers!
Thank YOU again for tagging me, this was so much fun to write! 🙂
I WANT TO OWN ALL OF THE BOOKISH THINGS IN THE WORLD! Like seriously, being on bookstagram can literally be the worst sometimes because people always have such awesome props!
I’ve tried reading two books at a time…always fails!
Oh yes, me too! There are SO many gorgeous things people can do, just inspired by books. I am amazed. And I need to be rich to get them all haha.
I can’t really focus on two books at a time, I don’t like it, at all! 🙂
Thank you so much Astra! <3
hahah that image of john green made me laugh out loud!
I can’t stop laughing whenever I see this. It was the funniest when this happened live, haha. He’s such a crazy man.
hahah he really is!
OH THE EMOTION. ITS OKAY TO CRY. ITS OKAY TO CRY A LOT. And patting and smelling books is NOT weird (I hope). Sometimes I just wander into my room and give each individual book a kiss. It starts with giving a peck to one of the books I really love and then I feel bad that not ALL my books are receiving kisses 😛
All the movies had been released a LONG time ago and I STILL haven’t finished Harry Potter *WAILS* I’ve only finished the first book and I REALLY enjoy it, I NEED TO GET MY HANDS ON THE REST.
My sisters are AWESOME. One buys me some of the most AWESOME books that I didn’t think of picking up AND THEY BECAME FAVOURITES. Uprooted, Throne of Glass, SHE HAS GOOD TASTE. My Little Sis doesn’t read usually but when she reads a book I recommend and SHE READS IT, AHHHH I GET SO HAPPY. They are BOTH SO AWESOME 🙂 .
I don’t have many bookish items as well! AHHHH I’M SAD. Its not like I DON’T WANT THEM, its just, WHEN WILL THE MONEY JUST FALL INTO MY HANDS? The pain of not having all those lovely bookish stuff is kind of killing me a lot right now 🙁
OH I love that we are both so crazy ahah, I just look at my books sometimes and want to hug them all, it’s a bit insane, but I LOVE THEM <3
Oh don't worry, it's okay, but all the books are really good, and the movies just as well! I hope you'll enjoy it, and you have to make a post about it 😀
THIS IS SO CUTE. I love that you're so close and getting along so well with your sisters! I have one fantastic sister and I don't know what I'd do without her, to be honest. And it's the best feeling, to be close to family siblings like that 😀 Plus, you can recommend her books? GOALS. <3
SOME DAY we will get all of these bookish things and live in a VERY bookish house 😀
I LOVE IT TOO <3 Just look at them with their handsome spines and their attractive pages, HOW COULD I NOT. I am SO excited to finish the series EVEN if I do know MANY MANY things that will go down. The movie-marathon binge will be SPECTACULAR. I sure will!
AHHH SISTERS <3 They're all SO AWESOME! Aha, its so nice to know that I have such great people just *there* you know? What will we do without them (ABSOULOUTELY NOTHING). THAT IS A NUMBER ONE WISH GOAL THAT MUST COME TRUE.
I CAN’T WAIT, I really want to know ALL of your feels ♥♥♥ You’re so right, it’s so nice, and probably the BEST feeling, really <3 <3
I could not refrain from commenting. Perfectly written!
Aww thank you 🙂
SOCIETY 6 IS ONE OF MY BIGGEST OBSESSIONS – but I haven’t bought anything there because that’s how a sad life works.
I also have a hard time reading two books at once. I get a bit confuse and I feel like I haven’t enjoyed the book enough when I do so, because I was focusing in more than one thing at once.
And I feel the exact same when it comes to friendships and siblings and cute contemporaries. By the way, JANDY NELSON!!!!! I have to read more of her!
ME TOO. I just LOVE looking at what incredible and beautiful things people can do.
I feel the same way about reading two books, I can’t really enjoy it, or I feel like the book didn’t get enough attention, haha books really are like babies to me, that’s crazy.
OH YES, you have to read The Sky Is Everywhere now, it’ SO beautifully heartbreaking! <3
Thank you so, so much Lais! <3
I’m so glad I’ve found someone else who doesn’t read audibooks, haha. I’m considering trying, but I just don’t think I can do it. I cry ALL the time when reading. I’m such an emotional mess lmao. So with you on the Bookstagram thing and having books everywhere, too. And somebody needs to ban me from Goodreads ??
Sometimes, I think it would be a good idea, because you can read while doing a lot of things, but I don’t think I could focus on the story that way. I’d rather read it than hear it, I think 🙂 Hahaha I’m an emotional mess just as well, so at least we can support each other in this 😛
Ugh I need to get off Goodreads, but there are TOO MANY books I can’t stop.
Thank you so much Lauren, so happy we have so much in common! 🙂
Right!! Same here!! I don’t have the best attention span so I’d feel like I’d lose focus a lot easier. Haha, yes that is reassuring to know ? Right!! I can’t help myself.
Yeah, me too. Maybe we should try together so we’ll see if we both lose focus, and we can try and force each other to really listen ahha 😛
Haha, yes!! I’ve been meaning to try the Harry Potter ones because they’re on my library’s overdrive and I want to have a story I’m extremely familiar with but I keep putting it off ?
Oh that’s actually a great idea, to start with! I really don’t feel like starting at all, at the moment, hahaha
THESE ARE AMAZING FACTS ABOUT YOU!!! And I relate to so many of them omg, I HEAR YA ON A SPIRITUAL LEVEL. or something. Or I don’t even know what I’m saying. Hmm. Anyway.
John Green and Jandy Nelson are THE BEST. And the best friend trope gets me every. single. time. Like I want to read a million and nine books about best friends who STAY BEST FRIENDS AND ARE AWESOME. And also anything with siblings. I looooove siblings in books. I will basically read a book if it hints at siblings, no matter the genre. :’)
And movie adaptions make me anxious too. *trembles* The movie-people have ruined my TRUST FOREVER. I mean, there are good ones. But. Trust = gone.
I never lend books either. NOT EVEN TO MY SISTER. She leaves them on the floor and like, no. Those are my babies there. They must be treated with love. </3
It was so great reading this and getting to know more about you, Marie!!
AHH CAIT thank you so much, <3 And that you can relate to these makes me feel like I could have a tiny bit of your awesomeness in me, and OH THANK YOU <3
The best friends and siblings get me EVERYTIME, I just could read books with that only forever, and be perfectly happy with it. But there are way too many books to read so, yeah, that's not happening. But I LOVE IT. <3
Oh no, that's just cruel. Books are my babies as well, and I feel like crying whenever a tiny little thing happen to them, that's insane. But that's the life of a bookworm? 🙂
THANK YOU Cait, you made my day with your sweet comment! <3 <3
I LOVE John Green too. I always feel as though I have to be careful who I profess this too in the book world. I am also nervous about book to movie adaptations, however I always end up going out of curiosity. <3
Oh yes, me too…it makes me a bit sad, I feel like he’s so great, yet he’s one hyped/not hyped and very talked about author, I’m always scared to say something about him, or not, ahah. Yes, I do watch adaptations as well, I’m too curious not to! 🙂
Thank you so much <3
Haha so much awesome info in this post! I totally agree with a lot of things. Like I CANNOT read with music – it’s too distracting. Especially with lyrics. (I can’t do homework with music with lyrics either cuz I’ll start focusing on the words of the song, not the words of the page LOL)
And yesss, I also can’t stand audiobooks. It just takes SO LONG to listen to someone, when reading can take half the time. I remember the first and last time I read an audiobook, I fell asleep on it (whoops). 😛
OH YES me too! I get way too focused on the lyrics of a song (I love lyrics, I read them all the time, I love knowing lyrics to a song), and I can’t focus on anything else. Except singing, haha.
Hahaha :p Well, I don’t think audiobooks would be for me, I don’t really have the attention span necessary to read those, I think :p
YES TO THIS POST! i agree with so many of these. thanks for writing this <3
Aww thank you, I’m so glad you can relate as well! 🙂
I don’t like e-reading as well, I have read a few books that way but where’s the fun in that? What is buddy reading..
Buddy reading is when you’re reading a book at the same time another buddy is reading it 🙂 I discovered it earlier this year, and it’s so great, you can share your impressions on the book as you read together 🙂
Ohh.. Sounds fun. But I will have to look for someone to buddy read with!
It is a lot of fun 🙂 Well the book blogging community is big, and there are book clubs on goodreads as well, I’m sure you will find someone, just give a shout out on your blog 😀 I’d love to buddy read with you once, I’m kind of busy for now, but later and if we both have a book we want to read 😀 😀
I would love to have you as my book buddy! I am busy at the moment too rn, as my semester at university is ending and finals week is well next week ?
Aww, good luck for everything, you can do this! If you ever need support, cheer up or just your daily stupid joke to make you smile, well, I’m here 🙂 <3 What are you studying?
Thanks ! I will take you up on this offer during the vacations!
Great, I can’t wait! 🙂
Wow, I am exactly the same in so many of these!! I own a Kindle too, but I still prefer a proper book – and yes I smell them too! The kindle is handy for travelling, though!! I have books everywhere too – my husband despairs because I don’t have bookshelf either, so they are kind of lying around all over the place 🙂
Yaaay, I love finding bookish twins 😛 Haha, well, I have books lying around everywhere, it’s not that bad really, anywhere you are you have a book close-by 😛
See, this is my thinking… But my husband isn’t bookish like me so he thinks it’s a pain??
Haha that’s too bad…well, he’s your husband so he should know by now, that’s one of the (perks, if you ask me) of being with a bookworm 😀
He didn’t know before we got married – I sort of sprang it on him 😛
Haha, well…I’m sure he loves you anyway 😛
I hope!! 😛
I can only read one book at a time too. I have no idea how bloggers read multiple books at once and then review them. My brain cannot handle that. I need to focus on one and then go to the next.
You can still do bookstagram! Honestly, take it from a terrible photographer, just get your phone, arrange something that looks cute and snap a pic. Then filter like crazy. I think it’s one of those things where you get better as you go.
I have to read one book at a time as well, I can’t really focus on two, whttps://widgets.wp.com/notificationsbeta/2471464033#ell, I can, but I don’t like it. I prefer being fully committed to one book 😛
Aww, thank you so, so much for the support, maybe I will try sometime 🙂
If patting and smelling books is weird, then let me join you in our mutual weirdness. It’s the first thing I do when I get a new book (besides admiring it’s beauty). I don’t take notes while reading either. Sometimes if there’s really something I want to remember for my review I’ll take a picture of the page with my phone, but I usually just keep reading. I admire people who have the willpower to put down a book to write things down haha
Oh yes let’s be weird together! I do the exact same thing when I get new books, ahah, I just NEED to feel them and smell them haha. I admire those people as well, I just want to read and read and read, I’m too lazy / too into the story to bother taking a notebook ahah 🙂
