Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly feature hosted by Brokeandbookish. This week’s theme is the Top Ten Authors I Really Want to Meet. I have to say, this wasn’t an easy one: Book people are pretty awesome, and authors…well don’t get me started on them! A little selection of some I admire, and would love to meet one day. As always, click on the title of the books for a link to their Goodreads page 🙂

1 • John Green
I’m sorry. I have to talk about John, because he’s pretty much my favorite of all times. I love his stories, I love the way he talks SO fast, and I just absolutely love him. I will meet him one day, I may cry. And I’m not sorry about that.
2 • Lauren Oliver
Delirium, Before I Fall, and, most recently, Vanishing Girls (coming on my next book haul guys, brace yourself!)…so many reads I love, or I’m sure I will enjoy. I admire her writing and the way she always touches me with her stories, and with characters I can relate to. I will surely fangirl a lot while meeting her.
3 • Michelle Hodkin
What can I say except: where does this crazy imagination is coming from? Mostly, I would ask Michelle Hodkin that, while meeting her. And hm, she loves her cat. I love cats. Meow. (This isn’t a valuable argument? I think it is!)
4 • Morgan Matson
I love travelling, I love roadtrips. So does Morgan Matson, from what we can see in Amy & Roger’s Epic Detour. I would totally imagine myself in a car, singing and laughing while crossing the USA. I may be dreaming here, but her books left me a little of that, so…Morgan Matson sure seems amazing.
5 •Kiera Cass
Seriously, Kiera Cass seems SO nice, and sweet, and funny. I loved The Selection series, even if I still need to read The Heir (coming on a next book haul guys, feel my excitement!), I would love to meet her one day!

6 • Alice Oseman
I don’t know what to say, except maybe, Alice, you are so amazing! Her debut, Solitaire, is a truthful piece about teenagehood, and I loved every bit of it. Moreover, she’s about my age, she’s at university, and she’s so sweet and understands the struggle of uni. I would love to meet her and chat! And her accent, I love it, haha!
7 • Philip Pullman
Well…the guy wrote His Dark Materials trilogy, my favorite book from when I was little…how could I NOT put him on this list?

8 • Patrick Ness
Dear Patrick Ness, I feel sad to say I’ve only read More than this, for now, at least. Where does your infinite mind comes from?! I do want to know, and I do want to meet you. You take pictures with sloths, I mean, how awesome are you?!
9 •Jenny Han
I enjoyed all of her books so much, and, honestly, she loves LOTR, she seems really sweet and fun!

10 • Laura Nowlin
As one of my favorite debut authors, Laura Nowlin has to be put on that list. She loves books, and she wrote an amazing one, obviously I would love to meet her and tell her how much I loved If he had been with me.
Would you like to meet any of those authors? Why? Are there any other author you would love to meet? Let me know in comments!
Jenny Han is so darn cute. How could anyone NOT want to meet her? Great list.
Right?! Thank you so much for stopping by! 😀
The only author that I read their books on your list is John Green. AHHH! I am obviously missing out on some great books! There are some books by the author’s on your list that I do want to read though, so I need to get on it! 🙂
Well, John Green is the absolute best, so I forgive you, haha 🙂 Yes you should, I’m sure you would love some of those authors! Thank you for stopping by Ashley! 😀
John Green and Lauren Oliver didn’t make my list but just missed it – I love them. I had Jenny Han too. Great list!!

Aw so many great authors in common, this makes me happy! 😀 But what if you could just choose one of them? (that’s a hard question, wow, haha!) thank you so much for stopping by! <3
Well, these are awesome authors! Great minds think alike. 😉 Noooooooo this is my doom! I can’t choose just one. Although i suppose I want to ask Kiera Cass about the next book after The Heir as well as how Eadlyn came out to be… not a very nice person… 😉 But they all are on my list! <3
Exactly! 🙂 Aww, I still neeed to read The Heir asap!! 😀
Kiera Cass didn’t make it to my list but I would seriously love to meet her! I mean look at that face, so friendly and bubbly.
Aww I need to check out your list asap! 😀 Exactly, she seems so friendly and I’m sure having a conversation with her is so much fun! 😀
Yes! Check out my list when you are free! ?
I can just imagine how casual and comfortable a conversation with her might be 🙂
It was nice to see some fresh faces! I had to look some of them up 🙂 I would definitely love to meet John Green. I have read all of his books except Will Grayson, Will Grayson (which a co worker just loaned me). I would really love to meet Ellen Hopkins, Rainbow Rowell, Rick Riordan, and Scott Westerfeld 🙂
Aww, I can’t wait to hear your thoughts about Will Grayson, Will Grayson, then! I loved it 🙂 Great choices, too, Rainbow Rowell and Scott Westerfeld almost made it on this list, but there are so many writers I’d love to meet, it’s so hard to choose, haha! 🙂
Thank you so much for stopping by! 😀
