Hi everyone, how are you? I hope you are having a great week so far! I have SO many tags to catch up on, it’s CRAZY. So, today, without much surprise…another tag! This one’s a load of fun…
The wonderful Kat @ Life & Other Disasters tagged me for the Back to the Future tag. And I am OBSESSED with those movies. I saw them too many times, yet I keep on watching…It’s just so good. Alright, let’s get started!

Name a movie/book/show that makes you want to go back in time when you were younger and enjoy it all over again!
Book: The Golden Compass, because it was my favorite book, and I want to read it all over again, I loved it!
Show: Dawson’s Creek? I don’t know, saw that in my teenage years, and I miss it? I still watch it though, haha.
Movie: Wow, I have no idea, because, hm, I still LOVE Pixar movies and Disney movies and stuff? I mean, Zootopia was the most glorious thing ever.
What’s your favorite sci-fi and or fantasy book/show/movie?
Book: I loved Cinder lately, so I’m going to go with that one!
Show: I can’t actually think of anything, I prefer watching what’s the equivalent of contemporary, in tv shows, haha.
Movie: Back to the future? Is that actually cheating? Let’s say it’s not. I saw those movies too many times, and I loved them!
What’s a moment in a book that takes place in the past or future that you’d like to visit?
In a book? In the past/future? I DON’T KNOW this is too hard? I hope you won’t be mad, but I’ll cheat a bit on that one, and say I do NOT want to visit the world of Only Ever Yours. I got chills just thinking about it.
What’s a fictional store, cafe, etc. in a book/show/movie you’d like to visit?
CENTRAL PERK, always. I love Friends way too much. Heard there’s a place where you can sit on the COUCH. It’s like being there. Oh, I need to go to Hollywood someday. I’d love to visit The Pie Hole from Pushing Daisies as well. Even if I’m more of a cake person, all of these pies are glorious.
Name an automobile or way of travel in a book/show/movie that you’d like to take for a ride. What book/show/movie is it from?
Book: I’m guessing the Firebird would be quite incredible to use…even if, well, I’m not sure how the consequences would affect me. Or what if I stumble into a WEIRD world? Too many questions.
Movie: Obviously I’m going to go with the hoverboard from Back to the Future? Did you see that coming? Yes, me too.
Favorite fictional scientist?
I’m going to copy the wonderful Kat on that one, and go with Theo from the Firebird series. Because, well, I SHIP him and Marguerite. (Funny thing: I actually wrote, I ship him and Kat. KAT, I am shipping you with Theo, is that okay?)
I LOVE Back To The Future! And yes I would love to visit The Piehole from Pushing Daisies, I miss that show so much 😀 Great post!

I really want to visit Central Perk as well! I think I once read they built a replica somewhere? Might have been temporary though 🙁
Me too, it’s one of my biggest dreams ahah, for real. I think there’s a replica somewhere in China maybe, but I know there is one in Liverpool! I really want to go… And obviously the one in LA in the Warner Bros studios <3 (I know all about Central Perk replicas around the world, hahaha)

Oh man I love Pushing Daisies, it’s one of my favourite TV programs, even though it was cancelled like ages ago! I would love to be able to visit The Pie Hole 😀
Also I would really like my own Firebird, I probably wouldn’t be able to travel without seriously screwing up the lives of my alternates but honestly I wouldn’t be able to pass up the oppertunity to explore the multiverses! 😀

Haha, I think I would screw everything up just as well… But I’d still want to know what else there is out there, if I’m ever famous, crazy or living like, as an artist in San Francisco or something ahah 😛
Yes exactly, everything about it was amazing and I can’t believe they would have cancelled it. There was nothing else like it on TV and there still isn’t anything like it.
It would be kind of amazing to see what direction your life could have gone in if things had turned out a little different. But what if there was a world that was better than your original, wouldn’t that make you want to stay here forever?
I think that’s what makes me the saddest, there’s just nothing like this, really. I will have to re-watch all the episodes someday soon <3

I do re-watch both seasons every now and again, it’s always so brilliant and every time I wonder why they cancelled it after only two seasons!
It would be kind of worrying if you did find a better multi verse because would you want to stay here forever? But at the same time wouldn’t you eventually miss your own less than perfect life. I imagine it’d be cool to experience but probably a little dangerous at the same time too! 😀
It’s so sad though, there are some tv shows I loved and they just cancel it like that, it makes me so, so sad ahah. Sometimes I get why, but in other cases, well, when the show like that one is so original…well, I don’t get it.
I do know what you mean. Some shows I can see why they were cancelled if the ratings weren’t good but honestly I don’t see how that was the case with Pushing Daisies, I mean I didn’t think the ratings were bad for the second season, at least not enough to cancel it!
Exactly. It still makes me sad to this day. And petitions doesn’t really work 🙁 Well, I guess we’ll have to write the next episodes ourselves 😛
Yeah I’ve never seen a cancelled show come back on because of a petition, and there have been a few petitions I’ve seen for a few TV shows. I guess TV shows are cancelled for more than one reason and a petition isn’t likely to change the executives minds.
Well if that’s the only way to see the next episode I say lets go it 😀
Yeah I guess, it’s so sad though, there are such great shows that could have been saved this way, fans can be so dedicated 🙁
Exactly, and I just saw today Agent Carter’s been cancelled too 🙁 that’s a real shame because it’s a great show and if I knew it would work I’d definitely sign a petition to save it.
Ohh I didn’t watch this show, but that’s too bad. Seems like they like to cancel the ones we enjoy the most, ahah. 🙁

OMG! DAWSON’S CREEK!!!! I was so obsessed with that show and at some point even started putting my hair behind my ear just like Joey. She was one of my earlier role models. I can’t believe at what a young age I watched the show though. They did NOT talk like teenagers ever hahaha maybe that was part of why I always seemed more mature too – I just copied Dawson’s Creek characters my whole life.
One of my favourite sci-fi shows is Doctor Who of course, but also Dollhouse. It is super intense and only has 2 seasons. You should check it out if you are bored sometimes.

Zootopia was AWESOME. I remember watching this with my sis and we were so amazed by it we could’nt stop talking how awesome it was.

Ahh I love His Dark Materials too!! And yes Central Perk would be amazing to go to! But how am I supposed to pick just one fantasy book??? I love LOTR, the Hobbit, Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman…. to name a few…
I have read The Hobbit, but not LOTR…*hides in shame*. I do love the movies though, and I plan on trying to read those books as well one day! I want to read more from Neil Gaiman as well, I’m glad he’s on your favorites’ list 😀
Well- I’ll let you in on a secret- I prefer the LOTR movies to the LOTR books- although the Hobbit is one of my all time favourite books- I usually recommend people read the hobbit and watch LOTR. (but that is a really unpopular opinion- especially as a LOTR fan) But you should still give it a go if you like the films! And Neil Gaiman makes me so happy! Which ones have you read? 😀
Oh wow, indeed from what I’ve heard so far, people LOVE the books, but well..I’m a huge fan of the movies, and The Hobbit book was quite good. I will try and read it someday for sure 🙂

Yes! I’m a massive fan of the movies too!! Ah that’s one of the few I haven’t read- my favourite is Anansi Boys cos it’s one of the funniest books I’ve ever read and in close second is Neverwhere probably followed by The Ocean at the End of the Lane or Stardust- I can’t actually decide which, and American Gods is still good, but a little weirder. Basically I recommend all of them- but that’s probably my order of recommendations :p

Omg I’ve only watched part of Back to the Future. I AM A TERRIBLE HUMAN.?? But I looove the Starbound chronicles for sci-fi. And obviously the Lunar Chronicles. <3 does it get more perfect then THE PRECIOUS THING THAT IS CARSWELL THORNE? <333 Ahem. Also I neeeeed to see Zootopia! I've only heard good things about it! 😀

Oh my gosh, this is so sad but I haven’t seen any of the films you mentioned in this. Well aside from Zootopia. Oh, Flash. But speaking of books and movies and all that. Have you read Me Before You yet, Marie? I think you’d like it (it’s an adult contemporary novel); the movie is coming out soon!

I read it back in January but I’ve been struggling finding the perfect words for a review. It’s just that good! You need to read it before you see the movie, Marie!!
