Hi bookish friends! How is your week going so far?! As usual, today I’m going to leave you with some questions…and some answers, too, with a book tag!
This week, I have to thank the wonderful Josie @ Josie the bookworm for tagging me…back in October, wow. I’m sorry for the delay…catching up on tags really is taking time, ahah! Let’s get started with some questions…and throw some celebrities in there. I might add some comments about them, so, sorry about that.
1. Emma Watson — A book with a hot kick-butt female character
Oh, Emma Watson. Who doesn’t love her?! And did you know that she started a feminist book club? It’s already SO promising, even though I’m not taking part of it. That girl is amazing.
Anyways….for a kick-butt character, I’ll leave the Katniss and Tris behind, and talk about Lena, from the Delirium series, by, Lauren Oliver. I think that now, SHE kicks really some butt, even if, at the beginning, it certainly doesn’t seem like she will. I love her for that, too.
2. Ryan Gosling— A book with the hottest male character
Ryan Gosling, a.k.a the actor I will never forgive for making me cry my eyes out in The Notebook. But I’ll have him writing me letters every day of the year, all years, forever.
For my book with a hot male character, I will once again try to change from my usual answers, and go with the cutest Jase from My life next door. I really liked his sweetness, and he’s one of my favorite characters.
3. Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt — A book with your favorite fictional book couple
NO. My heart broke when Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt split up, so I’m not shipping those two. Sorry. But Aniston deserves better.
Hm, sorry, moving on… A favorite fictional book couple? Recently, I could go with Emmy & Oliver, or Reagan and Dev from Just Visiting. Both were very different, sure, but they were both so cute and great, realistic couples. That’s what I loved the most about them.
4. Shailene Woodley — Author you’ve recently discovered and loved
Am I the only one kind of getting sick of seeing Shailene everywhere? Don’t get me wrong, I like her, but…I don’t know, I want new faces in the great young adult books adaptations.
I could talk about SO many authors I discovered and loved in 2015… Patrick Ness? Robin Benway? Moïra Fowley-Doyle? Jandy Nelson? THEY ARE ALL PERFECT AND GO READ THEIR BOOKS NOW.
5. Josh Hutcherson– Favorite short story or novella
Oh, Josh. He’s SO cute and…he is SO little. He’s like a puppy, I want to adopt him.
I’ll be honest here…I don’t read novellas. I KNOW, I should. Should I? Do you have any recommendations? Please let me know in comments!
6. Dwayne Johnson AKA The Rock — Favorite Big Book (over 500 pages)
Big book? Well, I’ll be really not original here, and go with Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. Because it was such a big book, but it was such a good book, too.
7. Leonardo DiCaprio — A series with the most upsetting death (NO SPOILERS)
JUST GIVE HIM THE CESAR ALREADY. Hm, sorry.
Once again, I don’t think I will be very original here, but I’ll go with Allegiant. It was kind of upsetting, while I read it, but afterwards (after all the crying and everything, I mean), I have to say that it kind of made sense for the book to end that way.
8. Kristen Stewart — A book you found boring
I’ll go a little out of the young adult genre and into chick lit, but for that one, I can’t help but think about Gossip Girl, Psycho Killer. I read and enjoyed all of the Gossip Girl books, and I thought it’d be fun to read a book with some kind of crazy horror drama in it. Well…it was just the first book…with some horror touches here and there. Nothing new to the story, so…it wasn’t that entertaining.
9. Ian Somerhalder and his cat — Cutest book your shelf
If you know me a little, by now, you must know how much I like to read cute books, contemporary stories mostly with relationships that will make you doubt every other relationship in the real, and bookish world. Okay, maybe this book is kind of bittersweet, too, but for me, it just is one of the cutest ever, too… Eleanor & Park. You break and heal my heart, always.
10. Jennifer Lawrence — Perfect book or series
I can’t stop thinking about I’ll Give You the Sun. I just can’t. It was too pretty, and too beautiful for its own good. I loved every part of it. And if you hold on for a few more days, I’ll tell you ALL about it in my review.
For this fun tag, I’d love to see YOUR answers:
Anjie @ Love thy Shelf
Michelle @ Chelles Life In Books@ The Orang – Utan Library
Liv @ Curly Hair Bibliophile
Tanaz @ Bookish Freaks
And your answers, too, if you’re interested!

Totally out of the blue, but did you know that they actually wanted to make Delirium into some sort of web series or TV show? I think there is one episode with 60 minutes or so (which was originally released in tidbits of smaller time frames) out there in the interwebs. I haven’t read the book, so I wouldn’t know, but I’ve heard it’s not entirely faithful to the story. Not sure though 🙂
You’ve read the Shatter Me series right? I am really not big no novellas myself, but Unite Me was great, so if you want to try that, it may be an option.
You included Jase <3 He's great!
I do, and I watched that pilot episode, and I have to admit, I was kind of disappointed…but once again, I expected to be, since it’s a book I love so, so much! You should read it 😀
I did, but haven’t read the novellas yet. I think I will start my novella adventure by that :p
Jase is so, SO, great!! <3
My cousin didn’t really like it either. She said that it was moving too fast or that they changed too much. I am not sure I can remember.
You don’t really learn anything new about Warner and Adam, but it was interesting hearing their POV (didn’t help me much to like Adam better though … maybe even the opposite)
I want a Jase next door …
I don’t even remember the episode that much, haha, but I think it was kind of different from the initial story, and it annoyed me, a lot. I like adaptations, but not when they feel free to change lots about what makes the story so great.
Oh, I really DON’T like Adam, at all! So I guess I can get ready to, well, continue down that path, haha! 🙂
Aww, me too, how great would that be! :p
I get that. Adaptations don’t need to be entirely faithful, but they need to get the gist of it right.
I don’t like Adam either. I can’t believe I did in the first book hahaha
I can’t believe I LIKED HIM TOO, haha! I guess at the beginning, he was…nice? I don’t know, after reading the whole series, I feel like I just can’t like him, ahah
I get it, but I think we were all deceived in the first book.
This was a fun tag to read. 🙂
Aww, thank you so much, glad you liked it! 🙂
I agree with you on Josh Hutcherson. He is just so little and adorable! I see pictures when he was on the red carpet at The Hunger Games premieres and you can just see how little he is! Anyway, back to books. I haven’t read ANY of these books, but I have Allegiant. I just haven’t gotten to it yet. Anyway, I have to go back to the library in a few weeks, so I will be on the hunt for these books.
Maddie c:
HE IS SO LITTLE, that’s CRAZY. I’m not so tall myself, but I’ve seen him on the red carpet, too, and he’s so little, especially comparing to Liam. But he is SO cute! 🙂
Aww, well I hope I made you want to read some of those books! I’d love to know if you like them, or not! 🙂
Thank you for stopping by Maddie! 🙂
I know! It is so adorable! I am not that very tall either, but I am almost as tall as my mom and dad. Yes, compared to Liam, Liam is a giant! Thanks! I just got done with the Isle of the Lost by Melissa de la Cruz and it was so good!
HE IS a giant!! That’s crazy, haha, I feel like we need to take a ladder to talk to him, haha :p
Ohhh, I’ve read the Blue Bloods series by Melissa de la Cruz a while ago, and I remember loving it! What was this book about? 😀
Haha! The Isle of the Lost is about when King Beast (from Beauty and the Beast) banishes all of the world’s greatest villains on an island called the Isle of the Lost. Now Mal, the daughter of Maleficent, has to go find the Dragon’s Eye. It could be their only way off of the island! She decides to take Jay, her frenemy, and Evie and Carlos, which Mal and Jay don’t really like. It is the prequel to Disney’s Descendants. 🙂
Aww okay, I had no idea! It sounds good, I might add that one to my TBR… Thank you! 🙂
No problem!
Great post- I’m really loving this post- I also think Lena is kickass. And one of the things I like most about her is that she gets more kickass as the series develops- it’s really good character development. I really want to try the Accident Season.
Aww thank you, so glad you like it! 🙂 You’re so right, she goes through a great evolution within the series, that’s so great to read about. It sadly doesn’t happen all the time in books, so I’m grateful when it does, ahah 🙂
YOU SHOULD! The Accident Season was so great, I loved the writing, the story, the atmosphere, everything! I hope you’ll read it, and tell me what you thought of it! 😀
Yeah definitely 🙂 and sometimes when it does happen it doesn’t make sense or work, but it did in those books.
Awesome! It sounds like a great idea, so I’m looking forward to it! 🙂 Absolutely 🙂
Yes, and it makes me so, so happy when it happens 🙂 I loved that book so much, and the whole series 🙂 You’ll let me know when you read it! 😀
Will do!
This was so clever!! Def agree with “Eleanor and Park”. And LOL’d at Ian Somerhalder and his cat, and Kristen Stewart being most boring 😉
So glad you agree! If you haven’t done this tag yet, I suggest you, DO IT 😀 It’s so much fun! 🙂
Thank you for stopping by! <3
JOSH HUTCHERSON IS AN ADORABLE LITTLE PUPPY. Have you seen Bridge to Terbeithia?! It’s got baby Josh, and it’s the cutest thing you’ll ever see. And Emma Watson is starting a book club? omg. I need to check this out. Hmm, Lena starts to kick butt later on in the books? I never got past past the book, because exams .-. I definitely need to pick it up again, sounds like I’m missing out.
I DID! He is just the cutest in that movie, and, hm, I cried like a baby, too, haha. She is! It’s called Our Share Self, and it already has TONS of members on Goodreads, you can check it out right here : https://www.goodreads.com/group/show/179584-our-shared-shelf 🙂
Oh no, that’s too bad. Exams are THE WORST, ahah. I hope you’ll decide to try that series again, and hopefully love it! 😀
Thank you so much for stopping by!! 😀
OOH I’M JOINING. It looks great.
Anytime <3
Love, love, love this tag! So creative and fun to read. xD Allegiant is absolutely perfect for Leo. And I agree: I’ll Give You the Sun</i is perfect. <3
Aww thank you so much Zoe! If you feel like doing it, then I’m tagging you 😀 It was so much fun to write. I’ll Give You The Sun is such a perfect book indeed. I loved every part of it! 🙂 Thank you! <3
Hell yes to Jase being an absolute hottie! I love him and his family so much! If only I could bring him to life…
His family seriously is so much fun. I’d love to experience a day in the Garrett’s family. It would be awesome! 🙂 Thank you Jenna! <3
You always manage to find the coolest book tags!
Aww, thank you! Well I’d love to see your answers to that one, if you want to participate! 😀
I wish there were more actors in the YA genre because not that I don’t like Shaliene Woodley, but it gets boring seeing the same person again and again. I love Josh Hutcherson though, he can be in every movie! Everytime I think of him in movies I just see little him in Little Manhattan. That was a really cute movie XD
I wish so, too! You’re right, it just gets a little boring when it’s always the same actress. I’d love to see new, unknown faces! 🙂 Ohhh I need to check out that movie. If John’s in it, and it’s cute…I should LOVE it! Thank you so much! <3
I’ve read quite a few of these *congratulates self* Unforunately, I’ve hardly heard of ANY of these celebrities (let’s be honest, they’re all actors) and those are some cute books. Delirium doesn’t get mentioned too much in the book blogging community, but she’s awesome. Like me, she’s short and likes running 😀 (P.S Team Alex or Julian) I THINK I’m julian. For novellas, I’d recommend Fairest if you like the Lunar Chronicles, or Hana (delirium 1.5, apparently, haven’t read it myself) or any Divergent or Percy Jackson novellas. Anyway, fun tag!
You’re so right! Delirium doesn’t get enough mentions, and it’s really awesome. Maybe Lauren Oliver created her main character while thinking about you, then, who knows 😉 Uhgh I don’t know, I’m team Alex, but Julian, too?! I’m having the hardest time deciding between the two!!
Thank you so much for the recommendations!! 😀
