Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly feature hosted by Brokeandbookish. This week’s theme is Top Ten We’ve Ever Done in the past 5 years. As you can see it, I decided to make it differently, today. As I’ve only been participating in this feature for a few months, I picked my favorite top ten topic done in the past five years, and done it, instead. I hope you’ll enjoy it! 1 • The Fault in Our Stars, John Green
Tears, lots of them, for this book, obviously. But also so much happiness, as always, when reading a John Green book. I love his way with words, and the way he shapes his characters and their way of seeing the world.
2 • Allegiant, Veronica Roth
This is another book that left me crying, yes, but, damn, what an ending to this series. It was just the ending that needed to be done, and it was strong, and beautiful.
3 • The Program, Suzanne Young
Lots of emotions in this book, too. Tears, rebellion, questions about what we feel, and how it shapes us into what we are.
4 • Vanishing Girls, Lauren Oliver
Such an amazing story about sisterhood, a rollercoaster of emotions, from wonder to recognition and well, lots of feels.
5 • More than this, Patrick Ness
Right from the start, I was hooked. And I couldn’t stop. So many questions and black spots that suddenly, put into light, just leave you falling off your chair. Amazing.
6 • We were liars, E. Lockhart
I’m not sure I can truly express how I felt while reading this book. Intense, is the appropriate word.
7 • The Retribution of Mara Dyer, Michelle Hodkin
Mara Dyer is one of my favorite series, and the ending didn’t leave me emotionless, obviously. Fast-paced, with great characters and ups and downs at every page.
8 • Because You’ll Never Meet Me, Leah Thomas
I fell in love with this story, and the two main characters, their friendship. Everything is just beautiful, I felt everything with them.
9 • Solitaire, Alice Oseman
I believe that Alice Oseman knows how to write about teenagers, and express how they feel, that’s one of the reasons I loved this book so much.
10 •If he had been with me, Laura Nowlin
I talk about this one a lot, I know, but it’s what comes to my mind when I first hear about emotions in books. Because this one, it’s a damn rollercoaster of emotions, so, bring on the tissues!

I’m planning to read More Than This by Patrick Ness. I’m loving books that can evoke strong emotion as of late.
Aw you should!! I never read Patrick Ness before, but I wasn’t disappointed, at all. It’s so different and so intriguing, from the start ’til the very end, one of my favorites! 😀

Oh my gosh Allegiant!! I literally couldn’t move on with life when it ended :'(
ME NEITHER!! I’m so glad you felt the same way, I cried for such a long time after reading the ending, it was awful :(. But I think, it was the ending that should have been done, even if it was sooo painful 🙁
I’m new to TTT as well, so I just did my own thing this week. I’m enjoying reading everyone’s posts though. I also had strong feelings when reading The Program. I need to read the rest of the series because I’m dying to find out what happens next. Great list, and happy reading!

I really enjoyed Patrick Ness’s A Knife of Never Letting Go, and seeing how you enjoyed it so much, hopefully I’ll be able to start More Than This soon! ?
