My blogger aesthetics

Good morning, good afternoon, good evening everyone! How are you? I hope you had a nice beginning of the week. Today I am back yet again with another award, and it’s quite different…

I have to thank my twinnie Fadwa, Liam, the creator of this award, Lauren and Sammie for ALL nominating me for this. It took me hours to find the right pictures and some more hours to put them together, but I am pretty okay with the result, I guess, so… But before letting you see it, let’s mention what this award is all about…

Bloggers are (let’s just be honest here) the absolute best. There’s so much diversity and personality and creativity in this community—and what better way to celebrate those things than by spending the next twelve hours of our lives hunting down and collaging the images that best reflect our individual awesomeness?

The Rules:

  1. Collect any number of images that you feel represent you as a person—your personality, aspirations, favorite things, anything at all that makes you you.
  2. Put your chosen images together into a collage of whatever size and shape you find pleasing.
  3. Share your masterpiece with everyone, in all the places.
  4. Maybe nominate other bloggers as a way to tell them, “Hey, you, I think you’re awesome, and we should celebrate that awesomeness.”
  5. Share these rules (and maybe the below tips, if you’re feeling helpful).

Tips:

  • Find inspiration by spending (minimum) three hours scrolling through aesthetic Tumblr posts relevant to you.
  • Two great places to hunt for pictures are Pinterest and WeHeartIt. Pinterest requires an account; WeHeartIt does not.
  • PicMonkey’s collage editor is free to use and doesn’t require an account, heck yes. YouTube has plenty of tutorials on how to use it; I watched this one (which begins with tips on how to find decent photos).

And now, enough with the suspense, and let’s see what my aesthetics look like…

Confidence: This is a mix of my own pictures and some other random pictures I found out online…Can you spot the ones I actually took?

I would absolutely LOVE to see these bloggers’ aesthetics, so here are my nominations!

What do you think about the pictures I picked? Do you think we have anything in common – would you have picked some of the same pictures? Let me know in comments! 💬

  1. I love these pictures! I definitely recognise your shelf in one pic and maybe your notebooks? And di you take the panorama at the top? The picture with the bed and the bookshelf is definitely one that suits me, as is walking in the sunshine (though I might pick a different location.

    1. awww thank you so much Shanti! ❤ yes, I did take the panorama at the top, favorite place in the world 🙂
Ohhh, what kind of location would you pick to walk in the sunshine? I'm curious 😀

  2. Omg, I love the Looking for Alaska quote. 😍 I haven’t re-read it in so long, and now I feel like I should even though I have way too many books on my TBR. I honestly have zero idea what my aesthetic would be; I’m just a hot mess and I can’t think of anything that’d describe me. 😂

    1. RIGHT? it’s my favorite quote, it’s just so good ❤ Haha, oh well deciding for myself wasn't easy, took me a couple of hours to find the right pictures haha. But if you ever feel like doing this, I'd love to see your aesthetics 😀

  3. I have a tab open on my phone, with a google search of images of rooms with built-in bookshelves. We definitely share a love for a room like that! My house has been in a seemingly never-ending state of renovation, but someday, when my new room is ready, I dream of having built-in bookshelves. In my bedroom, in the living room, IN THE KITCHEN BC WHY NOT?

    I love your aesthetics!

  4. This is a great aesthetic Marie, and thanks so much for the tag as well. I really love this one and I love seeing what other bloggers come up with for their aesthetic as well. I think I just like looking at all the pretty pictures
I think I guessed a few of the pictures you took yourself, though I possibly missed one or two. I love the travel ones as well (I think I recognized one from London in there) they’ll definitely be some travel related images in my aesthetic when I come to posting it. 😀 ❤
    Again thanks for the tag.

    1. You’re welcome, Beth! I can’t wait to see what you’ll come up with for that one. But no pressure, I know we’re all overwhelmed with the tags we have to get through ahah 🙂
YES, London, I couldn’t NOT put it there, I love that city so much. It’s about time I go back….soon? I hope ahah.

  5. I love this so much! It’s neat that you used some of your own photos. And that Looking for Alaska quote! 😍😍
Thanks so much for the tag, Marie. I have a feeling this will take me so long to do because I’ll get lost in looking at pictures but it seems like fun lol. 😊

    1. Aww thank you so much, Reg! ❤ I couldn't NOT include Friends, it's such a massive part of my life, I almost quote this show on a daily basis haha.
I just have a weekend away planned already for my sister's birthday in April for now – I guess it's something already ahah. I always need to have a trip to look forward to, otherwise I'm in a terrible mood ahah 🙂

  6. I love this, Marie 😍😍😍 Those photos definitely make me think of you and I love that you used some of your own! I’m bad at guessing, but I’d say that most of these are actually yours? I think there’s about 5 or 6 that aren’t. I My favourites would definitely be all the travelling ones, especially the map with “I go to seek a great perhaps” because even though I’ve never traveled I have such wanderlust and would literally go everywhere if I could, haha.

    1. Awww thank you, and I’m so happy you think this represents me well. It took me a little while to put this together but I’m happy with the result haha. Yes, most of these are mine! 😀 And well…wanderlust is good, it’s GREAT, even, and when you’ll finally be able to travel, it will be incredible 💖
