Hello friends, how are you? Today wasn’t supposed to be anything special, really, just another bookish tag or something fun to celebrate the fact that we’re in the middle of the week…But last Sunday, something special happened, and right now I am still giddy and jumping up and down like a crazy person. Because this is what a normal blogger person does when this happens, right?!
I know some people get that many followers in much less time, I know that a number means nothing, but either way, I am HAPPY and GRATEFUL, so this blog post is both a way to celebrate my 500 followers, AND to thank you all. Every single one of you taking the time to read one of my blog posts, to leave thoughtful comments and share your thoughts with me, everyone buddy reading, chatting with me sometimes on a daily basis because you are just that friendly and good. I never, ever expected to meet such a friendly community, and to make friends from all around the world. YES. There is drama, there’s trouble, and there are hateful comments and stupid people everywhere. But you get past this, because it means nothing. What matters is all of you guys, taking the time to follow me and hear what I have to say on this little corner of the internet. And for that, I am SO, so grateful.
I apologize (should I? I don’t think so, but I will anyway), because there won’t be a giveaway today. Oh man, there are so many things I want to know about life in France, and just France in general (as you might’ve guessed from my crazy-eyed enthusiasm about your traveling posts), but I can’t even come up with a single question that isn’t just “TELL ME EVERYTHING.” Uh.
