Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly feature hosted by Brokeandbookish. This week’s theme is Top Ten Bookish People you need to follow. Since I don’t follow a lot of bookstagram, even if I’m insanely jealous of your talents, I decided to keep it simple and give a shout out to some bloggers I love. They are some of the SWEETEST people out here, so please, check out their blogs and follow them already. What are you waiting for?
PS. I could write NOVELS about each of the people mentioned below. For your sake, I’ll keep it simple. I love you guys, thank you, ALL OF you, even if you’re not in here, for making this blogging journey THE BEST one.
1 • Kat, from Life & Other Disasters
Seriously, THIS GIRL, she’s GOLD. I don’t remember when or how we started talking, but she’s one of the best people I met thanks to book blogging. I know I can always count on her, to be there, in and outside of the blogging world, I just know, and I am grateful. She talks books, TV, and she’s just awesome. Why aren’t you following her already?!
2 • Summer, from xinsings
We started blogging around the same time, and yet I feel like I’ve known her for much, MUCH longer than a year now. I love how she always leaves thoughtful comments and is forever supportive. She writes the best reviews, gives out, the best recommendations in books, and she’s way too sweet.
3 • CW, from Read, Think, Ponder
Going on CW’s blog is one of my favorite thing to do. Reading her reviews and thoughtful discussions is one of the best part of my day, seriously. She’s so sweet with everyone, and she makes AWESOME ART. Her reviews and writing will just blow your mind and make you think about books differently.
4 • Joan, from Fiddler Blue
Joan, Joan, Joan. I feel like I’m going to say sweet all the time, because SHE IS, too. Seriously, her “ramblings” are so different, so well-thought and just, ACCURATE, I love it. And her reviews, and book reviews, just, everything. Joan is awesome. This is why you should follow her.
5 • Becca, from Becca & Books
Becca is the QUEEN of great tweets, funny blog posts and reviews that will certainly bring a smile on your face. I love her original ways of rating the different aspects of a story, and she’s just CRAZY at times, but a good kind of crazy. She’s a lot of fun. She’s just like you, you’ll love her.
6 • Beth, from Reading Every Night
Never have I talked SO much with someone, in so little time, ahah. I don’t think I’ve known Beth for long, yet we just talk about EVERYTHING, because she’s such great at striking up a conversation. Plus, her great reviews filled with quotes will certainly make you want to read some more books.
7 • Reg, from SheLatitude
She LOVES FRIENDS. Am I the only one thinking this is a valid reason to follow her? IT IS, FRIENDS IS LIFE. Anyways, moving on… I love how Reg keeps making me want to read new books, sometimes even if they’re a bit outside of my comfort zone, and sometimes, her insightful reviews help me A LOT deciding if I should pick up a book or not. I love her discussions, and BOOK LOOKS. That’s kind of awesome, go check it out.
8 • Lydia, from 22 is still young adult
If we lived anywhere closer, I feel like this girl could be one of my closest friends, really, because we go through the same things. It’s great to talk with her, always. I love how she talks about books, obviously, but also occasionally, puts other, unknown books into light, talks about feminism, and a load of other interesting stuff.
9 • Geraldine, from Coralling Books
Geraldine, oh, I’m stuck in a virtual cabin on Camp NaNoWriMo this month, so she better be nice, right? Haha, well you’re in luck, Geraldine is AWESOME. She’s always there to comment on blog posts and share great conversations, plus, she has great ideas with Joan to strike up…conversations. You should follow her right now.
10 • Trisha Ann, from The Bookgasm
Just like with Summer, I started blogging around the same time as Trisha, and I feel like I’ve known her forever. If she’s kind of in a blogging slump, I really think that she has one of the best blogs out there, and I always have a great time reading her reviews. Just go visit her blog. She’s the best.
