Top Ten Tuesday (51) : Top Ten Bookish People You NEED to Follow RIGHT NOW

top ten tuesday

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly feature hosted by Brokeandbookish. This week’s theme is Top Ten Bookish People you need to follow. Since I don’t follow a lot of bookstagram, even if I’m insanely jealous of your talents, I decided to keep it simple and give a shout out to some bloggers I love.  They are some of the SWEETEST people out here, so please, check out their blogs and follow them already. What are you waiting for?

PS. I could write NOVELS about each of the people mentioned below. For your sake, I’ll keep it simple. I love you guys, thank you, ALL OF you, even if you’re not in here, for making this blogging journey THE BEST one.

1 • Kat, from Life & Other Disasters

Seriously, THIS GIRL, she’s GOLD. I don’t remember when or how we started talking, but she’s one of the best people I met thanks to book blogging. I know I can always count on her, to be there, in and outside of the blogging world, I just know, and I am grateful. She talks books, TV, and she’s just awesome. Why aren’t you following her already?!

2 • Summer, from xinsings

We started blogging around the same time, and yet I feel like I’ve known her for much, MUCH longer than a year now. I love how she always leaves thoughtful comments and is forever supportive. She writes the best reviews, gives out, the best recommendations in books, and she’s way too sweet.

3 •  CW, from Read, Think, Ponder

Going on CW’s blog is one of my favorite thing to do. Reading her reviews and thoughtful discussions is one of the best part of my day, seriously. She’s so sweet with everyone, and she makes AWESOME ART. Her reviews and writing will just blow your mind and make you think about books differently.

4 • Joan, from Fiddler Blue

Joan, Joan, Joan. I feel like I’m going to say sweet all the time, because SHE IS, too. Seriously, her “ramblings” are so different, so well-thought and just,  ACCURATE, I love it. And her reviews, and book reviews, just, everything. Joan is awesome. This is why you should follow her.

5 • Becca, from Becca & Books

Becca is the QUEEN of great tweets, funny blog posts and reviews that will certainly bring a smile on your face. I love her original ways of rating the different aspects of a story, and she’s just CRAZY at times, but a good kind of crazy. She’s a lot of fun. She’s just like you, you’ll love her.

6 • Beth, from Reading Every Night

Never have I talked SO much with someone, in so little time, ahah. I don’t think I’ve known Beth for long, yet we just talk about EVERYTHING, because she’s such great at striking up a conversation. Plus, her great reviews filled with quotes will certainly make you want to read some more books.

7 • Reg, from SheLatitude

She LOVES FRIENDS. Am I the only one thinking this is a valid reason to follow her? IT IS, FRIENDS IS LIFE. Anyways, moving on… I love how Reg keeps making me want to read new books, sometimes even if they’re a bit outside of my comfort zone, and sometimes, her insightful reviews help me A LOT deciding if I should pick up a book or not. I love her discussions, and BOOK LOOKS. That’s kind of awesome, go check it out.

8 • Lydia, from  22 is still young adult

If we lived anywhere closer, I feel like this girl could be one of my closest friends, really, because we go through the same things. It’s great to talk with her, always. I love how she talks about books, obviously, but also occasionally, puts other, unknown books into light, talks about feminism, and a load of other interesting stuff.

9 • Geraldine, from Coralling Books

Geraldine, oh, I’m stuck in a virtual cabin on Camp NaNoWriMo this month, so she better be nice, right? Haha, well you’re in luck, Geraldine is AWESOME. She’s always there to comment on blog posts and share great conversations, plus, she has great ideas with Joan to strike up…conversations. You should follow her right now.

10 • Trisha Ann, from The Bookgasm

Just like with Summer, I started blogging around the same time as Trisha, and I feel like I’ve known her forever. If she’s kind of in a blogging slump, I really think that she has one of the best blogs out there, and I always have a great time reading her reviews. Just go visit her blog. She’s the best.

I LOVE all of you guys, and I would mention every single one of you taking the time to visit and comment on my blog. Seriously. Thank you. 💖

What are some of your favorite bloggers? It’s time to be NICE, because being nice, is, well, NICE. So mention them in comments! What do you like THE MOST about book people?  THEY ARE AWESOME, right? Let’s chat in comments! 💬

  1. I love all these bloggers so much! Seriously, CW’s art is so stunning. I don’t know how she has time to make it for every book she reviews! Geraldine is one of my closest blogging buddies too – I feel like she’s always so friendly and lovely! Xingsings is one of my favourite blogs too 🙂

    1. Oh, I have no idea how she does it either, it’s just SO beautiful, everytime, I’m amazed! I agree with you, I love all of these people ❤ AND YOU, Denise! It's not been very long, but your comments always make me smile, you're so friendly and sweet, I'm glad to have met you ❤

  2. I am so in love with this post because you included most of my favorite bloggers and others that I’m good friends with! And what?? Nah, you’re the one with the best reviews (they’re so much more detailed than mine) and sweet comments! ❤ Anyway, thanks for the kind shoutout this week, Marie! ❤

  3. If I am gold, what are you girl? I actually went and googled that but there are some weird substances that are more expensive and I definitely don’t want to compare you to those. Seen as you are such a gem, that’s what I am going with – YOU ARE A DIAMOND! Taking the light and dispersing it all over, making everyone happy and warming my heart! THANK YOU ❤

  4. Thanks so much for featuring me Marie, seriously reading this made me smile so much and was definitely one of highlights of my day!
I’m the same, I think it’d be weird if there was ever a day when we weren’t commenting back and forth, we’ve literally covered so many topics and I always look forwards to seeing comments from you 😀
Also I’m glad you like my reviews so much, the feeling is more than mutual, there are so many books I’ve added to my to-read list because of your posts!
Thanks so so much again 😀

    1. Ohh well you’re welcome! We might not be talking for that long, BUT I definitely love it, and I feel like I’ve known you forever! I love all of our conversations, and yes, oh your reviews are always organized, detailed and they make me curious about books I haven’t read, or really show some details I’m not thinking about, for books I know already! 🙂 You’re so welcome, thanky ou! ❤

      1. Yes I completely know what you mean (it’s probably only been just over a month maybe since we started talking) I always love hearing from you in comments and reading all your posts! And I totally feel like I’ve known you forever, I know more about you than some of the people I work with!
Honestly my TBR list has grown so much since I started following you, mainly with contemporary YA books which I did need to start reading more! And I’m glad you like my reviews so much, that’s always great to hear 😀

  5. I’ve only visited two of these blogs (Summer’s and Geraldine’s), and they are both super sweet. Definitely going to have to visit all the other blogs you’ve mentioned here! Thanks for putting this together Marie and, as always, fabulous post! ❤

    1. Hahaha, well I have to agree with you on that, I’m guilty of checking on WP blogs way more often than on the others, it’s just way too easy to go on the Reader, than to search all of the bloggers individually. Plus, my memory sucks. And I don’t get a thing about bloglovin’, there’s so many posts on here it scares me, hahaha.
      Thank you Joey! 🙂

  6. Ahh, THANK YOU SO MUCH for mentioning me, you’re very sweet. Friends is indeed life, and I’m totally up for a book camp where we just read books, watch friends and eat delicious stuff.

I already follow some of the people listed here and would 100% agree with you — so many wonderful people in this community! — but I’ll be checking out the ones unfamiliar to me. Thanks for the recommendations, and thank you again for including me. ❤

    1. You’re so welcome, ❤ This really should be done, like a monthly thing where we just binge-watch Friends all day and talk about it, then take a break to read a few awesome books and eat amazing food. Would really take off the pressure of, well, life, ahah 🙂
I hope you'll find some great blogs to follow, all of these people are fabulous ❤ And once again you're welcome, you're one of the best people out there!

      1. YES! I’m actually not sure what it is I love so much about Friends – the humour? The fact that they’re all, well, friends in their 20s and figuring out life? I just looove that show and kind of hold it as my forever mood pick-up-er. 😛

And thank you so much, that’s so sweet! So are you. ❤

      2. I guess it’s the whole package, ahah, for me it’s the same, it never fails at making me feel better, laugh, and I love that, even if they mess up a lot, they are just like us, going through life, love life, friendships, difficult jobs, etc. I guess it shows us that everything’s going to be okay? I love them ❤

      3. Yeees, that’s exactly right! And I think it helps me too that they’re all pretty flawed people (i.e. Rachel’s spoiled, Monica’s nuts, Ross is self-centred and insecure, etc.) so it makes me feel… less alone, if that makes sense? 😛

  7. The only one I know is Reg from this list…gotta check out the others 😁 I didn’t get around doing a list but if I did u’d be on it 😁 I mentioned to Reg you’re the only one I know and follow from her list too 😂 thanks for the recommendations!!!

  8. EEEE SO MUCH BLOGGER LOVE HERE!!! I’m following many, if not all of these blogs here and omg, I totally agree. I was nodding my head along and squealing as I read the bloggers here because all of them are so lovely and all so amazing. ❤ Though Marie, you forgot one more blogger; yourself! 😛 You are such an amazing person, people should be following you asap if they're not already! *showers you with chocolate and hugs*
