Hi bookish friends, how are you? I hope you had a great week. Mine was pretty full, but I can’t complain, it feels so good to be back with family and take a break.
Today, I’m going to talk to you a bit about life. Well, and books, obviously. So how about a tag to do that? The wonderful Jenna @ Reading with Jenna tagged me to do the My Life in Books Tag. Before starting, let me say that she is one of the sweetest people I have met in the blogging community, and that, if you don’t know her and her blog, you should check it out right away! Alright, let’s get started! 🙂
1. FIND A BOOK FOR EACH OF YOUR INITIALS
I didn’t read More Happy Than Not yet, but it’s on my TBR. I don’t know when I will pick it up, but I’ve heard so many great things about this story, I know I should at some point!
Vendetta is a story I really enjoyed reading. Fast-paced and mysterious, it’s an entertaining read you should give a try to, if you like contemporary romance and thriller.
The 22nd book on my shelf is The Forbidden Game, by L. J. Smith. Wow, I read that book a damn while ago, I couldn’t even remember the whole synopsis correctly, haha!
3. PICK A BOOK SET IN YOUR CITY/STATE/COUNTRY.
Anna and the French Kiss, Stephanie Perkins is the first book that comes to mind, since it’s set in Paris, France. I don’t live in Paris, but I do live in France, so I guess that counts! Plus, this was such a sweet and endearing story, I loved it!
The only book I can think about now is The Bling Ring, because it’s set in Los Angeles and its surroundings, and it’s one of the destinations on my to-do-list!
I remember reading Inkheart, by Cornelia Funke, when I was younger, and I really enjoyed this story, the setting, and the extraordinary power of making stories come alive. Uglies, by Scott Westerfeld, could be another choice. I read it around the time it got released, and it’s a story that made me love the dystopian genre…and made me question the whole society around me.
7. WHICH BOOK DID YOU HAVE THE MOST DIFFICULTY READING?
I’d say the one I’m reading now, Legacy of Kings. I started a few days ago, but I’m having a hard time getting into it, figuring out ALL the characters in it, and everything. But I’m not one to give up, so, I’ll see how I’m liking it after a few more pages!
All the books?! Maybe Bone Gap. This book has been on my TBR forever and I NEED to read that now.
I hope you had as much fun reading it, as I did writing it! I’m going to tag a few people to do this one :
If you’d like to do this tag, then please do so, I’m officially tagging YOU!
