Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly feature hosted by Brokeandbookish. This week’s theme is Top Ten Authors I’d love to see write a book together. There are so many great authors out there, I tried to think of obvious, and less obvious connexions between them…and about the world they would invent together.

1 • Suzanne Collins & James Dashner
Those two, together?!! They would really make a killer dystopian world that would shake ours. .

2 • Kiera Cass & Jennifer E. Smith
I could perfectly see those two together, writing love stories that we can keep in our hearts for a long time. .
3 • Scott Westerfeld & Victoria Aveyard
With both those talents to shape such unique worlds, I’m sure together they would come up with something crazy amazing.

4 • Lauren Oliver & Morgan Matson
I think those two could go great together, in a sweet, unforgettable contemporary story, with great characters and obviously lots of FEELINGS.

5 • Jenny Han & Becky Albertalli
Don’t you think it’s almost meant to be?! Those two got both talent to write killer-sweet stories, so I’m sure they’d make something sweet…like all the pastries and oreos in their books.
With their two mischevious ideas, added with the touch of suspense and mystery we get in some of their books (Looking for alaska, We were liars), this would be a masterpiece!

7 • Tahereh Mafi & Patrick Ness
They are two of the best writers out there, if you ask me. I just love both their worlds and their way with words. Their collaboration would be extraordinary, and unforgettable.

8 • Michelle Hodkin & Jessica Brody
Damn, if you put those two together, I’m sure they would come up with such a chilling world that you would be scared to read about it…but obviously couldn’t stop yourself anyway.
9 • Catherine Doyle & Alice Oseman
I definitely think those two young authors could have some things in common on the paper. They shaped two very different worlds in Solitaire & Vendetta, but if the character development and chilling action would come together, I say YES!

10 • John Green & Rainbow Rowell
I know I already used John Green, but how can I not mention how amazing it would be if he got together with rainbow and wrote a novel? A coming of age story that would make us cry, without a doubt.
What do you think of those collaborations? Did you think about some others? Let me know everything in comments! 🙂

Collins and Dashner, I would read!
My TTT 🙂
They would make quite an unforgettable story together, I think! 🙂
Thank you for stopping by! 😀
Ahh all of these are just great combinations!!! All I could think of while making my list was Holly Black and Cassandra Clare but they’ve already done a book together haha. Great list Marie! Hope some day these dream combinations come to life!
Thank you so much!! I didn’t read anything by Holly Black, but I suppose it’s good? 😀
I hope so, too! Thank you for stopping by! <3
YAY! John Green and Rainbow Rowell are on your list as well!
Also, I am really liking the idea of Morgan Matson and Lauren Oliver together. I can totally picture it!
They’re quite an obvious pair, I really think they should get together at some point, haha! 🙂
I can, too, I think they would perfectly go together! 🙂
Thank you! <3
Numbers 1 and 7 could definitely be interesting, I think. Number 7, I’ve only read Ness, but I liked him, so I wouldn’t mind seeing him collaborate! Anyways, my TTT.
Aw, if you didn’t read anything by Taheref Mafi, you should try! Her writing style is quite unique, you either love or hate it, I think, but either way I think it’s interesting to check it out! 🙂
Thank you for stopping by! 🙂
Once I get out from under my pile of Indie-Author-For-Review Books, I’ll definitely check her out 🙂
Awesome!! I can’t wait, I really hope you’ll enjoy it! 😀
Great choices! I especially love John Green & Rainbow Rowell.

So glad you agree!! 😀
I love your list. I would love to read so many of these duos!
Thank you so much! I’d love if even just one of those could happen 🙂
I love your list! I love Kiera Cass, but I need to check out Jennifer E Smith. Suzanne Collins and James Dashner would sure create quite the dystopian world together! I haven’t read Scott Westerfield’s books for years but I should return to them. And check out Jennifer Aveyard. Thanks for sharing! New follower and loving your blog 🙂

Aw thank you so much! If you like contemporary romance, you definitely should read Jennifer E. Smith, you should enjoy it 🙂 I know, me neither, I stopped with the Uglies series for Scott Westerfeld, but I heard he’s written some great books, I need to go back to it, too! 🙂
Thank you so much for your comment and your follow! <3
I will definitely check out Jennifer E Smith’s books. And I didn’t realize Scott Westerfield wrote other books. I will have to check those out too 🙂 You’re welcome!

Your choices are absolutely fantastic! These authors would all work so, so well together and their books would be mind-blowing. I especially like the pairings of Tahereh Mafi & Patrick Ness (they would create something so unique and beautifully written) and John Green & Rainbow Rowell. Thanks for sharing and, as always, fabulous choices! <3
Thank you so much Zoe!! <3 I really think Patrick Ness & Tahereh Mafi would blow me away if they put their talent together! 🙂

Thank you so much, I’m so glad you agree! 😀
Thank you for your comment! 😀
I love all of your contemporary choices! (I haven’t read as much fantasy so I can’t comment on too many of the others.) I also had Jenny Han and Becky Albertalli on my list for the same reason! It would be cookies galore!
I think we share a common love of cookies, haha! I’m sure if they ever wrote something together, it would make my mouth water simply by reading it, haha! 🙂
Thank you for your comment Jenna! <3
great ideas! My TTT
Thank you so much! 🙂
John Green and Rainbow Rowell would be PERFECTION. :’) Although can you imagine all the feels?! Would we readers even survive? XD 😛 I would also love forever if Mafi and Ness wrote a book together. That would be beyond amazing.
Thanks for stopping by @ Paper Fury!
I don’t think ANYONE would survive this amount of feels, it’s too much, it’ll be unbearable! But at least, we’ll die happily after reading this book, haha 😀
Thank you so much for stopping by Cait, and for your comment! <3
