How did you find out about new books to read?

I often add books to my TBR because, or more likely, thanks to, you. Yes, you, book bloggers, when you’re talking, reviewing, mentioning a book in your posts, I’m a very curious person, so obviously I go check it out. And probably, if I’m interested, add it on Goodreads…my second best friends in my book-searching journey, haha. I often look at book recommendations on there, too, to find new books.

How did you get into reading?

Hm, that’s actually a very good question, because, I can’t even remember? My mom is a very big reader, and we always had books everywhere around the house. Even when I was just a toddler, I played with books, so…there was no real beginning, I was born withΒ books close to me, haha!

How has your taste in books changed as you got older?

When I was a bit younger, I think I read much more fantasy and stories involving magic, than I do, now. I really love those genres, now, too, but as I grew up, I found myself more dragged to contemporary and dystopian stories. However, fantasy is one of those genres I’d love to get into a bit more, as it seems that there are quite exceptionnal books in this category now!

How often do you buy books?

If I could listen to my inner voice, it would be, ALL THE TIME. But my bank account is far from following, so, I’ll wait to be rich to listen to this little voice of mine. Right now, I buy books around once a month, just enough usually to last the month. I’m organized like that πŸ˜‰

How did you get into book reviewing?

A little less than a year ago, I found out that there was quite a big book blogging community online. I wanted to talk about books, and share with people who read as much as me stories about new books, get excited about new releases and movie adaptations and everything. I wanted to share my opinion on stories I read, and see if anyone is thinking the same way as me.

How do you react when you don’t like the end of a book?

Usually, I close the book in a dark rage and throw it across the room. No, I’m kidding, I would never hurt books that way (!!!). But I would surely close the book and get annoyed, then rant about it in my review and with everyone who read the book.

How often do you take a sneak peak at the ending to see if there is a happy ending?

I don’t! Well, I get that this is a tempting thing to do. As one of my reading habits is reading the Acknowledgments beforehand, and those are often close to the end, it’s very, very tempting to turn one page and read the last few words. I try not to do it, never, but sometimes my hands slip away…then I hate myself for my lack of resistance.
