Hi guys, how are you? I hope you’re having a wonderful summer so far! Are you going away on holidays, or chilling with your books? Maybe both? Tell me about it in comments! 🙂

Today, I’m coming back with a new tag, about my reading habits. Thanks so much to Wesaun @ Oreos and books for this! If you don’t know her and her blog, I suggest you click on the link above, and discover her awesomeness, her great reviews and her discussions I absolutely adore! Let’s get started with the tag right away! 🙂
Do you have a certain place at home for reading?
Actually, I don’t! I enjoy reading on the couch, outside when it’s sunny, in my bed…as long as it’s a place I feel great staying in, to get lost in a book, I’m good!
Bookmark or random piece of paper?
Can I say, randoms pieces of paper? My bookmarks are a mix of travelling tickets, Accessorize tags and other cute things I like to keep around. Nevermind the book I’m reading, it’s always the same bookmarks that I keep with me.
Can you just stop reading or do you have to stop after a chapter/ a certain amount of pages?
I always need to stop at the end of a chapter, otherwise I’m just frustrated. There are times when I need to stop before, but in that case, I just can’t stop thinking about where I stopped…until i pick up the book again.
Do you eat or drink while reading?
Sometimes I do. I really love drinking tea while reading, I know it sounds cliché, but it’s just so good! Eating a whole meal while reading happens to me, too, but only when I’m alone. Otherwise, I tend to eat fruits, chocolate… Except when I’m too into the book, I will let my tea get cold and forget everything, haha.
Multitasking TV or music?
Not really, no. TV tend to bother me, even when it’s just in the background, the same applies to music. I have to say, when I’m really into the book, I can still focus on the words, but it still bothers me.
One book at a time or several at once?
I prefer reading one book at a time, only because this way, I can focus more on the story and the characters. I never got confused or anything, while reading two books at a time, however, I prefer to read one book at a time.
Reading at home or everywhere?
Everywhere, for sure! I take a book with me almost everywhere I go. Even if I do most of my reading at home, car rides, lunch breaks and waiting rooms, all are an excuse to get lost in a good book.
Reading out loud or silently?
I always read silently.
Do you read ahead or skip pages?
I may have skipped some pages once in a while, just to see what happens, or if some character ends up okay… sometimes it’s tempting to see how a book ends before even starting it. But I swear i’m not doing this anymore, or, well, I try to control myself, haha! 🙂
Breaking the spine or keeping it like new?
Always keeping it as new as possible! Books are like my babies, I’m always the most careful about them, and I do hate when the spines are broken. Sometimes, though, it’s really hard to keep them as good as new, but I’m doing my best to.
Do you write in your books?
Why on earth would I write in my books? While some may do so, I just can’t. As I said before, books are precious to me, and, if there are passages I would be interested in, let’s say, highlight, I would do it figuratively, or write a quote someplace else, but not in my books.
Thanks again for nominating me! Did you guys do this tag? What would your answers be? Do we have anything in common? Tell me about it in comments! 🙂
I’m with you in the bookmark question, my current one is an old plane ticket 🙂 (sometimes it’s the grocery shopping ticket)
Aw, so glad to hear i’m not alone! 😀
🙂
What a fun tag! I love reading about everyone’s respective reading habits 🙂 Like you, I can’t imagine writing in or damaging my books in any way; it pains me just to fold over the page! I also always have a book on hand, as you never know when you can fit in some time to read.
Thank you! It hurts to much to see one of my books being damaged, so I try to be the most careful, even if that makes me look crazy from time to time, haha! 🙂
Thank you for stopping by, Bella! 😀
Lovely answers, many of which are quite similar to mine, except the bookmark one! I never use random bits of paper, I love my bookmarks. ? xoxo
Thank you Josie! <3 I find some bookmarks really beautiful, but my random pieces of papers are all memories I wouldn't get rid of, haha 🙂
Thank you for stopping by! 😀
I can’t multitask while reading either! If the TV or music is playing I find it difficult to concentrate on reading! I loved reading your answers this looks like such a fun tag!! -A x
Thank you so much! I find it really bothering, too, and I much prefer to read in silence, and to focus on my book 🙂
It really is! I would love to read your answers to this tag, if you feel like doing it! 😀
I have so many bookmarks but I always end up using my business card or a random receipt haha.
I used to only read one book at once as well– then I discovered how much reading multiple books increase my productivity by– so now I try to do more of that XD
Haha I totally understand, I felt more productive when reading multiple books at a time. But now I think I prefer to focus on one story at a time 🙂
Thank you for stopping by, Aentee! <3
I always wished I could use bookmarks! They’re just so pretty. Problem is, I end up losing them and so now I just don’t bother even trying. Plus, random pieces of paper works fine! XD And I also read everywhere—I mean, why not? I always find excuses to read, and to bring my ereader with me. 🙂 Great answers! <3
There are some amazing bookmarks, yes! But I would be so scared to lose them! With random pieces of paper, it’s not a big deal 🙂 Thank you so much for stopping by Analee! 😀
Yes, exactly. 🙂 And no problem, with my vacation and all, I’ve been missing out! <3
I totally understand, it’s great to have you back! I hope you had amazing holidays! 🙂
