Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly feature hosted by Brokeandbookish. This week’s theme is the Top Ten Characters Who ______. I decided, for this one, to tell you about the characters, well, relationships, so two characters together, that will make you swoon. I’ve read my share of romance YA books, I love it, I admit it, and I’m always looking forward to more of those relationships leaving you dreamy. I’m a romantic 🙂 Here’s a little selection of the characters I love! As always, click on the title of the books for a link to their Goodreads page 🙂

1 • Lucy & Owen, The Geography of You and Me, Jennifer E. Smith
I absolutely love those two characters, the way their story built up during those pages and the way they always care for each other. One of my favorite romances!
2 • Samantha & Jace, My life next door, Huntley Fitzpatrick
Falling for the next door neighbor seems a little cliché, but I definitely found those two characters swoon-worthy! Nothing seemed rushed, they’re just themselves.
3 • America & Maxon, The Selection, Kiera Cass
I don’t know if I’m supposed to ship those two, or is it more Aspen & America? I definitely prefer Maxon (sorry?), the way they’re with each other is just simply amazing.
4 • Reeve & Lillia, Burn for Burn, Siohban Vivan & Jenny Han
Okay, to be honest, I didn’t expect to ship those two at the beginning of the series. But I did. We discover two characters very much made for each other, and definitely, together, they make such a great pair.
5 •Amy & Roger, Amy & Roger’s epic detour, Morgan Matson
Two characters starting with no intention of falling in love. Just two people up for an amazing road trip, discovering themselves and how to repair their own damages, together. Nothing rushed, just real.

6 • Lena & Alex, Delirium, Lauren Oliver
No spoilers intented, I must have read the ending of Delirium, the first book in the series, about a billion times. I just love it, I love them together, they are just perfect.
7 • Belly & Conrad, The Summer I turned Pretty, Jenny Han
Okay, in this book, who are you supposed to ship? Conrad, or Jeremiah? The good/bad boy? They both have their appeal, but Conrad definitely is my weak point. His moments with Belly are so swoon worthy.

8 • Cam & Asher, The Probability of miracles, Wendy Wunder
In this beautifully written, and real, book, Asher and Cam’s relationship is just perfectly paced, given the circomstances, and the life they have. This is not a book focused on romance, but it definitely has a great swoon worth potential.
9 • Caleb & Maggie, Leaving Paradise, Simone Elkeles
Caleb and Maggie, there’s a cliché relationship between a bad boy and a good girl. There’s a relationship that never comes easy, is work, and I absolutely loved the building up, making me ship and love them a lot.

10 • Autumn & Finny, If he had been with me, Laura Nowlin
I can’t even start to explain how much I loved reading this book (I may have quoted it already a few times, actually). Autumn and Finny’s relatinship is perfect, and probably one of the most swoon worthy in this list. May I add that they’re best friends? Definitely my favorite kind of book.
Did you read any of those books, are those some authors you don’t know, and / or are you interested in checking out ? Let me know in comments!
Fun topic! I don’t read a lot of YA romance (I prefer a love story as a subplot, not the main one), so I haven’t read most of these. Several of them are on my TBR mountain chain, though.
Happy TTT!
Thank you! Aw, well I hope you’ll read one of those soon, and don’t forget to tell me if you enjoy them! 😀
Thanks so much for stopping by Susan! 🙂
I unfortunately haven’t read any of these books, but I know several of them are in my TBR. Great list by the way 🙂
Thank you Alicia! Well if you ever get the chance to read some of those, let me know if you like them! 😀
I don’t recognize all the couples on this list, but I definitely agree with the ones I do! Great picks. 🙂
Aw, thank you so much! 🙂
I love America and Maxon! I am for them all the way! Loved your post.
Me too! I absolutely love them together, they’re perfect! Thank you so much Josephine, always great to see you around! 😀
I definitely agree with you about Cam&Asher this is a book I still keep thinking back on.
I’m SO happy to find someone who read this book, it was definitely memorable <3
The writing took a bit to like but it was a good book. I love my cover of my copy too. It is one of my few cover buys =]
Aw yay, it’s a beautiful cover, too, I love it! 🙂
Wow, I’ve not read any of these. But Amy & Roger’s Epic Detour is on my TBR. If you’ll allow, I’d add Cath & Levi (Fangirl, Rainbow Rowell) and a couple (I think it’s a spoiler to name names?) from Virginia Boecker’s upcoming debut The Witch Hunter. I’m, uh, no expert in this field. 😀
You should definitely read Amy & Roger’s Epic Detour, I loved it. Plus, the pictures and playlists included in the book gives an interesting insight on the road trip! 🙂
Aww, I really need to read Fangirl, I love Rainbow Rowell and I didn’t read it yet (shame on me!). Thanks for the recommendations, always so great to see you around ! 😀
I didn’t know that! Thank you! And yes, pick up Fangirl the soonest!
I will ! Thank you! 🙂
I ship Maxon and America, too! And a lot of others prefer him over Aspen 🙂 It’s not even a legit love triangle for me, lol 😀
I can’t wait to read The Heir! Ahah, for me, too, it’s not a love triangle at all, it’s always Maxon and America! 🙂
Thank you so much for stopping by! 😀
Me neither 🙂 Team Maxon!!
You’re welcome! Thanks so much to you too 🙂
