Top Ten Tuesday (5) : Top Ten Books for readers who like being taken away

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly feature hosted by Brokeandbookish. This week’s theme is the Top Ten Books for Readers who Like ________.  The theme I chose, is, being taken away. Could be for another world, or just for a night, a road trip, a lifetime…I thought it was an interesting idea to recommend so many different, yet amazing books!

1 • For a road-trip : Amy & Roger’s Epic Detour, Morgan Matson

2 • For a night : One night that changes everything, Lauren Barnholdt

3 • For a summer : The Au-Pairs, Melissa De la Cruz

4 • For different times : Unremembered, Jessica Brody

5 • For multiple lives : Revived, Cat Patrick

6 • For a world of what-ifs : Before I fall, Lauren Oliver

7 • For an adventure : Paper Towns, John Green

8 • For an epic love story : Eleanor & Park, Rainbow Rowell

9 • For a thrilling mystery : Veronica Mars, Rob Thomas

10 • For a completely different world : Divergent, Veronica Roth

Which of these books would make it on your list? Do you have any other suggestions? Let me know in comments!

    1. Aaw, you should give a John Green’ book a try, they’re really amazing! Looking for Alaska is my favorite, but Paper Towns is a great place to start: great characters, and a story that makes you think about people 🙂 You’ll tell me what you thought of it!
      Thanks for stopping by 😀

  1. Books about going somewhere (or being taken somewhere) sound wonderful! I haven’t read a ton of them, so I guess I’d better keep an eye out from now on. 🙂 Aidyl @ Noveltea

      1. Sure thing! If I ever get to them that is… my TBR list is ever expanding and sometimes I feel like I add books more than I read them (well actually that’s true, since I’m such a slow reader during school).

  2. I love your list! I loved Amy & Roger’s Epic Detour and Paper Towns. The summary to Before I Fall sounds really intriguing and kind of like If I Stay by Gayle Forman. I must read it.
