Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly feature hosted by Brokeandbookish. This week’s theme is the Top Ten All Times Favorite Books from the last three years. I just love so many books, but here are the ones I can’t get enough of.
1 • Looking for Alaska, John Green
This book is my all-times favorite, I don’t remember how many times I’ve read it, and I still love it. The story, the characters, the mystery, the truth…it’s just perfect.
2 • Eleanor and Park, Rainbow Rowell
I didn’t expect to fall in love with this book, but I did. My first Rainbow Rowell novel is filled with the bittersweet taste of first love.
3 • The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer, Michelle Hodkin
The Mara Dyer series is filled with creepy mystery, suspense, scattered with bursts of humor and a love defying everything.
4 • Since you’ve been gone, Morgan Matson
I absolutely loved this book : a girl disappearing and an adventure awaiting for an average girl in the summer with a bunch of clues, unexpected friends and a new self she didn’t know.
My love for Lauren Oliver is inexplicable, and it all started with Delirium. In a world where love is forbidden, and all feelings are wrong, Lena discovers that there’s so much more to the world she knows.
6 • Uglies, Scott Westerfeld
Scott Westerfeld has a way of building stories and worlds that is so amazingly believable. Welcome to a world where everyone undergo an operation at 16, to become pretty…and lose a piece of their mind.
This book is one of my favorites : I love this dystopian world where technologies are everywhere…but nothing is real anymore.
8 • Pretty Little Liars, Sara Shepard
Told in four different point of view, this series explores a scattered friendship after the disappearance of the head of the group, Alison. Filled with mystery, plot twists and blackmail.
A young author’s debut, but what a masterpiece. She portrays perfectly teenage years, and all the struggles coming along with it.
10 • We were liars, E. Lockhart
E. Lockhart has a writing style that fascinates me. This story is weird, from beginning to end, and I’m not going to spoil it for you. We were liars is haunting, brilliant, and really moving.
Which of these books would make it on your list? What are your favorites? Let me know in comments!

I think we have some reading tastes in common… love that when I find a blog with books i like. There are so many that are all about fantasy fiction, which I like, but isn’t my first choice. The uglies & Eleanor & Park both made it to my mental list, as did quiet, Gold, station eleven & Daughter. I really enjoyed looking for alaska too. Have you read reconstructing Amelia? Looking at your likes it might be a good one for you?

*flails with happiness at the sight of a John Green book*
I really loved Uglies as well! I have yet to continue on with the series though. How horrible of me! I didn’t particularly like Delirium or Pandemonium but I really loved Before I Fall and maybe Requiem will shock me and change my mind about the entire trilogy. Literally, all of the books you’ve listed, I’ve either read or am planning to read in the near future! It’s like we’re connected…on a reading level! Awesome list!

You’re a fan of John Green, too? Aw this makes me so happy ! 😀 Yes, you should read the rest of the series, personally I loved the second book, Pretties! Before I fall was a great read, too, I thought about putting it on my list, too. I was a bit disappointed of Requiem, to be honest, but, considering it’s still Lauren Oliver, I loved it anyways 🙂
Aww, that’s so amazing! Thank you, I hope we’ll meet each other again soon then, since we share the same tastes! 😀
