Happy Wednesday, friends! I hope your week’s going well. Today I’m back with another bookish tag…
Oh wait, except that it’s not, since it’s called, Anything BUT books. I have to thank the lovely Bianca for this – even if, really, I had such a hard time answering all of these questions hahaha. I hope you’ll have fun reading these anyway!
1. Name a cartoon(s) that you love.
I am such a child, I love cartoons so, so much. I guess since it’s the last cartoon I watched, I’m going to go with Gravity Falls. It’s crazy and mysterious haha I love it. If I can mention Disney movies, well….We’re here for a while.
2. What is your favorite song right now.
I am currently obsessed with the Taylor Swift and Zayn song, I Don’t Want to Live Forever. I got it on replay, well…forever.
3. What could you do for hours (that isn’t reading)?
Watch tv shows – watch Friends. Complain like the real French person that I am. Worrying/being anxious about all the things. Planning my next travel. Blogging. Sleeping?!
4. What is something you love to do that your followers would be surprised by?
Hm, this is such a hard question to answer, I don’t know what I should say here? Should I mention a special talent I have?
5. What is your unnecessarily specific thing to learn about?
I’m not that good or that much of a writer I guess, but I love to learn about writing. I really like to read author’s interviews where they mention their writing processes, I love reading articles and blog posts about writing, world-building, character shaping and so on. I also recently discovered 88 cups of tea, a podcast all about storytelling, and it is FASCINATING, really.
Do I apply these advice? I do not know.
6. What is something unusual you know how to do?
I don’t know if I know how to do anything unusual, really. I don’t have that many talents to be honest haha.
7. Name something you’ve made in the last year?
I don’t know if you’re going with something that’s been physically made or not. I’m not really a crafts’ kind of person?! And since I haven’t done anything surprising or particularily impressive, I’ll go with something I did in the last year: graduating from a master’s degree. That counts?!
8. What is your most recent personal project?
Hm I think I will have to say the book I’m currenty trying to write. It’s not that recent since the beginning goes way back to 2015…but well, it’s still on-going, so…
9. Tell us something you think about often.
My blog? I think way too often about everything blogging, I guess it’s borderline obsessive? Or passionate? Or maybe a little bit of both. If we’re not talking about blogging here, I might as well say, my whole life – I often, too often wonder about every single thing in my life.
10. Give us something that’s your favorite, but make it something oddly specific.
I guess I could talk about food here. My favorite kind of food is something called a Flammekueche and it’s one of the main dishes where I live and it is VERY GOOD. It’s like pizza. And who does NOT like pizza?!

I’ve been working on my research paper recently, I’m so proud and it’s close to done. Also, I just made meringues, so here’s to hoping that they come out of the oven in one piece. I love Disney movies! Tangled is spectacular, and on the TV show side, Phineas and Ferb was my childhood obsession. I’m loving the song “take on me” by a-ha and the instrumental covers of it.

This is such a fun tag and I loved your answers. Gravity Falls is amazing but my favorite cartoon is probably Bob’s Burgers! My blog takes up all the free space in my brain but if not much is going on in my life, it’s all I think about haha.

I love that song I Don’t Want to Live Forever! I had it on repeat for a solid month after it released and I ended up listening to every single time I pulled up Spotify ?. Though now I’m obsessed with Rise by Katy Perry. It’s such a good song! And I can relate on the having no talents front. Unless binge watching 6 seasons of a tv show in a week counts that is lol. As for favorite cartoons, if it counts, Spirited Away is my all-time favorite. Though it’s more anime and a movie. Congrats on graduating from your master degree, that totally counts! I find very fascinating to know more about other areas of interest of our fellow book bloggers, so I really like this tag! I also agree that learning more about writing is sooo cool! I’m not a writer myself, but that doesn’t stop me from spending hours and hours reading writing blogs, authors’ interviews and more about creative process. I also spend a lot of time watching bullet journal videos, even when I don’t have one! It’s just… satisfying, hahah. Great post, Marie!

Great answers for this tag Marie, it’s kind of nice to see some that aren’t necessarily about books because most of the tags we take part in are all about books.
I love Disney films, and Friends, and just watching TV in the background of my life while blogging, which yes is something I do for hours as well. It’s probably the only part of my life other than working, reading and sleeping I do for hours on end! 😀
Also I love I Don’t Want to Live Forever by Taylor and Zayn. I heard it a lot of the chart music channels and just became addicted to it. At the moment though my favourite song is Symphony by Clean Bandit. I’ve listened to that on repeat a few times I’ll admit! 🙂 <3

I loved to read this Marie! Although I have never watched Gravity Falls or Friends. *gulps* I do love SpongeBob though! (shhh it’s the best plus the gifs are ON POINT) Also, Adventure Time! Oh and I love that Taylor and Zayn song too! (although I don’t like the movie franchise it’s part of *coughs)

Ah, I do love this tag, as it gives the chance to talk about well, anyhting but books 😉 As much as I loooove talkign about books, there are indeed so many things out there that are interesting so it’s fun to talk about them once in a while 🙂
I don’t watch that many cartoons anymore, but I think the last animated movie I saw was Finding Dory and I LOVED it! I’m also recently getting into anime again and that’s been fun as well 🙂
The Taylor Swift and Zayn song is indeed amazing! I wasn’t that big a fan of it at first, but the more I listened to it, the more I started liking it and by now I’M IN LOVE 🙂
