Good morning, good afternoon, good evening friends! How are you? I hope your week’s off to a great start. I’m back at work today after a long weekend, and…well, it felt nice to have a little break. Anyway! Today’s the day where I’m answering ALL the tags and awards I have yet to answer….
And I have to thank my wonderful twinnie Fadwa @ Word Wonders for nominating me for this wonderfully sweet award. I am thrilled to have found people like her in the blogging community, and if you don’t know her or her blog, check it out right now, you won’t regret it!

Do you consider yourself an introvert or an extrovert?
I guess it mainly depends on who I am with, and what environment I am in, as well. I’m mostly an introvert though.
If you are in a bad mood, do you prefer to be left alone or have someone to cheer you up?
Same as above, it really depends on who’s here to cheer me up, ahah.
How would your friends describe you?
I hope they’d describe me as nice?! haha, I try my best to give time to friends, at least the ones who gives some time back and actually care, listen, and are there for me. Those kind of people are rare, really.
Do you judge a book by its cover?
Who doesn’t? I guess we live in a world where appearance kind of IS a lot, now, isn’t it? I can’t help but want to look at a book’s synopsis when the cover looks gorgeous, but I’d like to think that I’m more influenced now by what other bloggers and friends are saying about this book, rather than what the cover looks like. Sometimes the cover looks gorgeous, AND bloggers love it, and…well, I can’t resist.

Are you organized? If so, what are your top 3 tips.
GREAT question… I guess I try to be? I’m mostly organized when it comes to two things : holidays and blogging (maybe?). Holidays and travelling are where I am the most organized in the world, and my sister and I are CRAZY planners when it comes to this. We’re already thinking about holidays up until summer 2017. As for blogging, well… I do try to be organized otherwise I’ll just go crazy. I sometimes do.
Tips, you ask… wow, hm. I guess you’d rather hear about my blogging organization? I try to think about a schedule, and keep up with it the most that I can. I dedicate every single night coming back to work for blog hopping, and every weekend I try and write down the next week’s blog posts. And my third tip...try not to freak out? Easier said than done, as I’m writing this I AM FREAKING OUT.

If a genie granted you 3 wishes right now, what would you wish for?
I think I answered this question recently for another award, and I don’t think I’m going to change this. I guess health, happiness and the same for the ones I love.
What was your dream job growing-up?
I’ve always wanted to be a writer. The other day when I cleaned up my room, I found some old stories I wrote and, erm, it was terrible. But I wrote pages and pages and I loved it. I guess it’s still a dream job as of today, but one I’m not daring to dream of too often, because, well. There’s a reason why it’s called, dreaming, isn’t it, haha.
What book has had the most impact on you?
I really want to say John Green’s Looking for
Alaska, for this question, because I think I’ll always remember how in love I fell with this book, and how I still love it now to bits. But I’m also thinking about Lauren Oliver’s Delirium right now, because when I finished the first book, I was crying and thinking about how this was such a huge slap in the face. I loved it so, so much.
What character would you want with you if you were stranded on a deserted island?
That’s actually a great question… Since I am reading Winter right now, I want to answer Thorne. I’m sure he’ll find a way to get us out of here, and…let’s face it, if I’m stuck on a deserted island, might as well be in great company.
If you could interview any author dead or alive, who would it be?
Can I take a raincheck for that one? There are WAY too many talented authors. I’d love to ask them WAY too many questions, like, what’s their secret to write books that just stay on my mind for ALL times.
I love your answers, Marie! I wish I could be as organized as you are: I’m absolutely terrible at scheduling posts. I tried to dedicate myself to it, but I realized that I can’t work without pressure, hahah.
When it comes to traveling, I’d also be LOST if it wasn’t for my sister. She’s the planner – she carefully organizes our trip, while I just sit and wait for her to say what we’re doing next…
Thank you so, so much! Oh, scheduling comes with A LOT of pressure as well haha, especially when you get behind -like I am right now… But yeah, I guess everyone works differently with their blogs 🙂
Hahaha, it’s so great to have a planner like that in our lives 🙂 Thank you! <3
Aaaw, my twinnie !! I’m so lucky to have you !! <3
You gave great advice there especially the "Try not to freak out" one, that's… Something I have to keep reminding myself constantly hahahah!
And YES THORNE *__* ! I love him soooo much and I wouldn't mind being stranded with him AT ALL, might even enjoy it a bit -a lot ?!!!
And about your dream job.. KEEP DREAMING AND CHASING IT GIRL !! You never know what might happen… Especially with that promising story of yours <3
I’m so lucky to have YOU my twinnie! <3 Thank you so, so much, and yes, that advice about not freaking out…Hm, I try to think about this all day long, but…I still fail haha, I freak out everyday haha. I guess I can't NOT do it?
Hahaha, Thorne is just the best character, isn't he? I love him way too much. Also, you need to read Winter soon, so…you can fall in love with him even more and more <3
You're going to make me cry, ahah, you are way too sweet, thank you <3 <3
??
Same !! I don’t think there will ever be a day when I don’t freak out about blogging ?
I will soooooon, promise ❤
It really is the truth my twinnie!
Me neither ahah, I guess freaking out is something we just can’t NOT do ??
Thank you <3
I also wanted to be a writer too. I think all bookworms want that dream. I never really looked covers before until I started my blog a few months ago. I judge them by titles.
Ohh well that’s interesting! The title of a book really is something that helps us decide whether we want to read it or not! 🙂 Thank you!<3
Well, I just started blogging (a week ago) and with scheduling I find it easy to post everyday.(Though I haven’t posted yesterday because extreme case of a bad day ???)
Haha well it’s so great if you manage to schedule all of your posts, that’s awesome! With working full time, it’s hard for me to schedule, let alone post every single day ? I hope you’ll love blogging, and welcome!! 😀
Yeah I guess work is different from school! Thanks anyway
Of course and what’s important is that you find your rhythm and happiness at blogging 🙂
Great answers for this tag Marie! <3 I definitely agree that if I had to pick any character to be stranded on a desert island with it would be Thorne. I think he'd be resourceful enough to find a way off and if not he'd be great company wouldn't he?
Writing is a lot of fun but it's a dream for me as well, something I enjoy doing in my spare time rather than something I could ever see myself doing as a job.
I try and be organized when it comes to blogging and travelling but I guess compared to other people I'm not so much (my sister has her holidays planned up to 2018. In comparison I barely know what my plans are this weekend!) I think with something like that you either are or aren't.
Thank you so much, Beth! <3 I think Thorne would be the perfect guy to be with in that situation, he'd find a solution to anything haha, and I'm sure he'd make me laugh as well ahah 🙂
Ohh I didn't know you wrote a little bit! What are you writing exactly in your spare time? 🙂
That’s all right, and yep I think with questions like that one it’s important to pick a character who’d be able to help get you out of the situation, and Thorne would be perfect for that. Not that it’s really a scenario that’s likely to happen right? 🙂
At the moment nothing, but I have a few ideas I may try and make something more one day. Given I read a lot of fantasy as well that tends to be what I write more than anything else.
Ohh really? Well if you ever feel like sharing a bit of this, I’d love to read it! 🙂
Definitely one day, I just need to start writing something down again rather than keeping everything in my head! 😀
YES you do, and I’ll be the first one to read it all 😀
What a great tag! And speaking about cover love, I’m really digging that graphic you made up here. It’s giving me an Arabian Nights vibe for some reason :D. I envy your organising skills, ever since married life really took over, I can’t schedule for shit anymore. Evenings and weekends are for the husband. Everything else for the daytime. Sigh. If only I was young and single again :’) *flips hair*. Health is always the best wish you can pick because with both mental and physical health being tip-top, you can pretty much conquer anything! 🙂
I wanted to be a writer too. And a news reporter on TV. And a sailor. And a sweet Mistress of an orphanage :’). Think I’m going to settle for less!
Thank you so much! I don’t know how I managed to be organized, some weeks I just…well I’m terribly behind, like right now haha. Being an adult is annoying, isn’t it? I wish I were back at uni or something haha.
Haha well…it’s always great to dream big, and there are SO many possibilities…who knows, maybe you’ll be a sailor in a few years :p
Thank you so much, Anne! Also, if you feel inspired to answer these questions, please do! I didn’t nominate anyone because I did this kind of in a hurry, but I’d love to read your answers! <3
Hahaha, phew, glad to see I’m not the only one with that then ;). Yes, all the responsibilities are driving me crazy!! XD I think I’ll become a newsreporter for the navy and then write about it in a special navy paper. Don’t know where the orphanage fits in though :’). I might give it a go when I can find the extra time for it! 😀 <3
I wish we could like, avoid all responsibilities and go live on a secluded beautiful island with all our books haha. Now THAT would be awesome, definitely a life goal ahah 😉
Sighs, where can I sign up? 😉
I don’t know, but when I’ll find out where, you’ll be the first one to know about it 😉
Yay!!
My answers to the first questions would totally be the same! It absolutely depends on who’s around! Only a few people know how to cheer up me when I’m not feeling so good, and everyone else might just make me angry! You’re definitely nice, Sweechie!!! Nice and adorable and cute and creative <3 <3 <3 As far as your dream is concerned, please keep your eyes closed, keep on dreaming and soon you'll be living it! <3
My sweechie, thank you, you are the best, I have no idea what I’d do without your sweet words! THANK YOU, and I guess there’s nothing wrong with keeping on dreaming, except maybe a little disappointment haha 🙂 <3 <3
Oh, my dream job (but this one is so impossible for me now) is to be a pilot! GOSH. I would love to fly a plane. <3 And yeah, sometimes I judge a book by its cover. <3 How are you, Marie? Love your answers. It's good to know you more!
Ohhh wow that’s such a nice dream! Who knows maybe someday you’ll be able to be in a cockpit and see what it’s like to fly! 🙂 Thank you so, so much Yani! I hope you are doing okay! <3
Yesss, my dream job as a kid was an author too! Although I stapled my books together and legit thought I could just take them into a bookshop and they’d sell them.? LITTLE CAIT WAS CUTE. Ahem. And ohhh, I love Looking for Alaska. I so want to re-read that. <3 And OH YES I judge books by their cover. I used to feel bad about it, but like I spend more time displaying my collecting instead of reading them, because it only takes a few hours to get through a book! So I figure I'm justified caring a lot about the covers.?
Hahaha that’s SO CUTE, and to be honest I’m sure they would if you tell them all about your crazy story ideas.
? You’re so right about this, I guess we definitely LOOOK at books so, so much, even more if you’re doing bookstagram or book pictures or everything. Also, just if you pet your books occasionally. We all do…right? 🙂
Thank you so much Cait! <3
Hahahahah at freaking out! Can’t help that anxious feeling from coming out! You still do a wonderful job at posting regularly and always caring for other bloggers! I mean, look at that 3rd wish! #care Well deserved award! 😛
– Lashaan
Aww thank you Lashaan, you are SO sweet! I am doing my best ahah but…there’s a lot of freaking out involved haha 😛
And here I was thinking you’d answer the last question with John Green right away hahaha I agree on a lot of things you said though. I am pretty sure I classify as an introvert, but so much of it depends on the situation and the people I am with. I am, however, still a massive cover snob. Guilty as charged.
Hahahah, you know me too well Kat, that’s why I didn’t answer John Green, I wanted to surprise you a bit hahaha. I just love book covers too much not to care about these haha.
Great answers…were you saying you cried after Delirium because you loved it? Because slapping a face and loving something don’t exactly go hand in hand in my mind…I loved the book! I hope you did too and weren’t being sarcastic? ?
I LOVED it so, so much. I mean, it was a slap in the face, like, it completely woke me up and I was astonished by it. The world, the characters, just the thought behind the whole book was…wonderful. I am so glad you loved the book as well! 🙂
