I’m back on the blog today to talk about…guilty pleasures! You know those books which aren’t considered “great litterature” (using air quotes right here!) but which are just SO addictive. The books you can’t put down, the full on drama books with a bit over the top story and characters you love to hate. The books that put you in a good mood and take your mind off things. i’m so glad you had a great august!! i got to see my great aunt and some other family which was amazing.
i really want to read gossip girl; it sounds like such an addictive book, and i think i’d love it. and i’d never heard of the thousandth floor, but it also sounds so fun!!
and i really need to read pretty little liars; ever since i was little people would ask me “like in pretty little liars?” when i told them my name was aria 😂
and YES american royals is my perfect guilty pleasure book. i know it really isn’t the best, but i loved reading the trashy royal drama all the same, and want to get to the sequel!!
i’ve wanted to read clique bait for so long, and i’ve never heard of luxe but it sounds INCREDIBLE!!
tiny pretty things looks so good; ballet thrillers are always intense and amazing, and anna k looks like the sweetest contemporary.

I LOVE Anna K!!! I didn’t actually like the Gossip Girl or Pretty Little Liars books as much, but those were the only other ones on the list I had read haha I did like the Gossip Girl show though!

I love guilty pleasure reads and I don’t even feel bad about it – they’re light and easy and so addictive. My first exposure to these kinds of books was The Selection series by Kiera Cass and I haven’t looked back since! I’ve never heard of Clique Bait before – I think I’ll have to give it a go 🙂

I’ve seen bow many books is in the gossip girl & pretty little liars serie.. and hell nah 😂 that is way too many books for my liking- that being said, I did enjoyed the OG gossip girl tv serie! (They’re having a reboot?? Wonder how that’d go..)

* the au pairs makes me thing of the haunting of bly manor 😅 and almost all of the books make me think of the book im currently reading, the lying game by ruth ware in a way!

I’ve never read the PLL books! I’ve heard that they were quite good, and seeing as I was among the many fans who were disappointed with the ending of the show (lol), I might have to pick up the books at some point x
