Teaching at InterBlogCon !!

Hello friends, how are you?! I hope you’re doing wonderfully great these days. This post is scheduled, but as it goes up, I’m going to have sort of an important exam in just a couple hours, so…PLEASE THINK ABOUT ME? Talking about exams, and classes, and everything… those following me on twitter might have noticed a little announcement a few days ago

YES, this is happening! I’m going to be speaking with my dreadful French accent, about some of my book blogging experience, share some of my tips and things I’ve learned along the way, and…we’ll be able to chat and more!
Now, here’s the question you’re going to ask: what is InterBlogCon, how can I participate, etc etc? You have questions, I have lots of answers for you, so, here goes!

📚 InterBlogCon is an INTERNATIONAL Blogging Convention, for all book LOVERS…and the best news is, that it’s all going to be ONLINE. No need to spend money for travelling, tickets and everything, from the Philippines to France and wherever you are, you can all be there together!

📝It’s going to happen on Saturday, the 16th of July. What is it about? It’s about having A LOT of fun between book lovers and just making even stronger this sense of community.

🎉There are going to be classes on book blogging, bookstagram, booktube, classes you’ll be able to attend and learn a lot from hopefully, ask questions, and most of all, HAVE FUN! Contests, chats, games and more are going to be organized just as well during the whole day.

📓 What, and me, you’re asking?! I’m going to be teaching a class, yay! I’m not going to say everything, obviously, because let’s keep a little suspense here, but it’s going to be about book blogging, and I am EXCITED! You’ll be able to learn hopefully a lot of things, besides the fact that I have a French accent and I am getting more and more anxious about it by the second –because YES, you’ll be able to HEAR my voice as I am teaching. Isn’t that exciting? –Talk about terrifying. Why am I doing this again?!

If you want to be a part of #InterBlogCon, well… YOU CAN! It’s open to everyone, the only requirement is to like books….AND WHO DOESN’T?
If you want to teach a class, well…YOU CAN! Share your experience on book blogging, bookstagram or/and booktube by subscribing here.
I am not organizing this event, but I’m just highly enthusiastic about it, so…if you have any question, you can mail the official-awesome-creator of this event, Wren : wrenthereader@gmail.com

So… are you going to take part in InterBlogCon? Are you going to attend my class? (Don’t leave me alone, I will cry. I can talk about French food, will that interest you as well? ;))

Are there ANY particular advice you’d be interested to get in such a convention? Let me know in comments!

  1. I’m so excited to attend your class! French food, book blogging, books in general… whatever the topic is I’LL BE THERE. ❤

Not sure if I can make it on the day, but I’m hoping there’ll be recordings of the session? I don’t think I’ve read instructions on how to actually attend, and I’m pretty sure I’ve subscribed to the general newsletter.

Also good luck for the exam! Fingers crossed for you. 🙂

I’ve heard French accents a couple of times, but I’ve heard Canadian French and France French accents are much different. 😛 ANYWAY, this is so cool! Can’t wait to see the class you’re teaching. ❤

    1. Aww thank you so, so much! ❤ ❤ All of the organisation details aren't very clear now either, but it should be live, and recorded to be on Youtube afterwards 🙂 I hope you'll be able to participate, even for a bit of the day 🙂 -if you're here for my class, I'll give you a shout out 😛

  7. Oooooooh! That’s brilliant news! Exciting event! 😀 I’ll do my best to participate!
Don’t you worry about your accent 🙂 I’ve got a little thing to make you feel better! You know what everyone says about French and their awful English? Well, I found worse! hahhahahahaha. I lived it Japan and let me tell you, you’ll be just fiiiiiine with your cute little Frenchie accent that is very successful to seduce foreigners xD

    1. It did, thank you so, so much Lauren ❤
I feel left out as well, and it makes me so sad to always see tweets and stuff about bookish conventions I can't go to, because it's too far away. I'm excited that this is all online 🙂 And thank you, I'm a bit stressed about it haha but I hope it'll be okay 🙂 Thank you!<3

  9. I think I’ll be at home for this and might be able to attend (though it’s the last day of holidays :() But I would love to hear your class, so I’ll do my best to participate. And I’m sure your french accent is lovely! I go to an international school, so I’m used to lots of different accents, and someone used to tease me about my accent a lot, so now I make a point to be especially nice. And good luck for your exam!

    1. Ohh, well I hope you’ll be able to attend, and if you can’t, it should be recorded and put on Youtube afterwards, I think 🙂 Oh an international school, that’s so cool! I really love different accents, really, it’s so cool to see how in different parts of the country -even my own country, people are speaking a bit differently 🙂
Thank you so, so much Shanti! ❤

  10. GO MARIE AHAHA I’M ROOTING FOR YOU ❤ I'm also a teacher at InterBlogCon, and I'm kind of (actually REALLY) nervous about having to talk to people haha. And whether or not they might find whatever accent I possess as weird 😛 But hey, it'll be fun! And good luck to you! IT'LL GO GREAT 😀

P.S. Découvrir que tu parles français n’a jamais été aussi fascinant!! Voir que tu n’as jamais tenté de glisser un mot ou deux en français!! 😛 Psyched to see the recap of your class! 😉
